I thought it was no government, no authority, and the people making decisions for the good of the community ? :spank:

Yes your correct, people seem to forget about the real life issues when quoting some fluffy ideology. :coffee:

Sigh...

Anarchy is all about the complete lack of NEED for external governance.
One of these days these idiots will get it

So there will be no mobs in this anarchist heaven then :killinme:
Everybody will have all the food they require, all the housing they require, clothes, shoes, play stations, TVs blah blah blah.
So if somebody does not want to work what happens ? If somebody takes a sickie, goes out on the lash, what happens ?

There's something wrong with your link, it takes me to a vid of some mob beating up some thieves, nothing about anarchy.

:dunno:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchy
[A society without a publicly enforced government or violently enforced political authority. ].

And your clip contained the police and a violently enforced authority.

Where's the anarchy?

So what are you going to do to the thieves, or will there be no thieves in utoipia :killinme:
Everybody will be equel but some more equal than others :poke: :loco:

Firstly, what are they thieving?

Secondly, we have an already adequate system for dealing with thieves, that's why there are currently no thieves in the world.

Seems they were thieving so they could have a few drinks in the bar :D
So anarchism will cut crime now to zero :eek2: :moon: I dont fucking think so, so who will enforce the roooolz :attn:

What does the sentence say?
'Anarchy is all about the complete lack of NEED for external governance'

Anarchy is rule of one. Self control.
The fact that you're incapable of envisioning it does not infer that it is impossible anymore than MOST people cannot envision splitting an atom. Indeed...not that long ago no-one knew what an atom was.

Anarchism is a mindset for social engineering TOWARDS such a goal scenario whereby external governance is no longer needed.
It is not a movement for flicking a lightswitch to create 'utopia' or other such bollocks.

Oi's reply was intended to show that authority has hardly tackled the problem which remains, you cannot come from a position which addresses nothing and is practically tested out and proven to do nothing...to then state that it is superior to a position that is as yet untested and theoretical and only intended to be an IMPROVEMENT TOWARDS a better scenario.

Yea your right Andy....

The video from Uganda showed a complete lack of NEED for external governance.

That's why the cops stood back and let the village handle the situation.

crime :killinme: Lets not worry about the criminal insane then or crimes of passion lol or somebody having a few drinks to many and wanting to have a row...but of course this will have been bred out of people, or they will be indoctrinated from birth...sounds a bit like the Nazis to me, same techniques different ideology ;)
So how will it cut crime ? Surely somebody will have something that another person wants , or will everybody be equel :killinme:

Your scathing critique has convinced me to give up all dreams of a better world, I'm off to get a sawn-off and a bigger gang than yours.

If you really are interested in the ins and outs of anarchism you'd be reading up on it.

But you're not so you're not.

I'll spend as much time and effort helping you understand it as you are willing to put in yourself, next to nowt. Ironic.

I'm just going off the definition of Anarchy.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchy
"a society without a publicly enforced government or violently enforced political authority"

Now if you wan't to make up your own definition and call it Andyarchy that's fine.

Andyarchy could be a society were people don't steal and everyone has everything they need and a high quality of life.

Because who want's to get beat to death by a village full of people over an accused theft while the cops let it happen.

Don't get me wrong i'm all for this more uptopian way of life, just not sure it should be called anarchy.

oioioi how you going to give up your dreams for a better (less violent) world when it's already coming true.

If by better you do mean less violent that is.

The times of Rome and taking the kids for a day at the Colosseum to watch gladiators and Lions fight to the death is over.

We live in a more civilized world now.

So if you have your own definition of a better world by Anarchy then use your freedom of speech to explain it.

That's certainly a cynical perspective oioioi...

Has the world not gotten better even in the last 100 years?

I'm sure the people in London who the Nazi's dropped bombs on in 1940 would disagree with you.
