A new series of "Lewis", another programme I really like (as does my OH!) is starting on ITV next week! :)

Mine are Game of Thrones, Fringe, Grimm, Touch and I quite liked the pilot of Awake so that'll be a new one no doubt, I don't watch normal telly, it needs to have a metaphysical or mysterious theme or it stands little chance of getting me to leave my books or documentaries long enough to watch it.

How's this for some really guilt-inducing telly viewing...who else among you (apart from me - please, please let me be not the only one!) is going to be watching the reboot of "Blockbusters" on the Challenge TV channel from next Monday at 8pm? It's going to take a real big man to fill Bob Holness' shoes but Simon Mayo is going to try his darndest, I'm sure! :) :chuckle:

I don't have a tv either - but have recently taken to watching a load of stuff whilst crocheting - including...

Game of thrones
Touch
The walking dead
Grimm
Once upon a time
The Borgias
How I met your mother
Raising hope
Big bang theory

and *whispers Glee*

What can I say - I adore it - I spose it would be unwise to admit seeing them at the o2 as well :band:

Whilst I am getting things off my chest I may as well admit to my addiction to 80's/90's cartoons, musicals, bon jovi and barbra streisand films.... :couch:

See, that's all fine. But the Glee thing...not so good. You need to wait at least ten years or so, til it has some cult status, then you can admit to actually liking it.

Right now, it's just a bit naff and you should keep it to yourself.

I have spoken. ;)

Funniest thing I think I've ever seen on the beeb...but they cancelled it after only two series.

Apologies if it offends, but this really is the level of my humour... :emb:

Corrie is a standard, even here in Athens. I decided I was going to escape it's clutches when I moved here then ended up spending last winter catching up on over a years worth to get up to date!

I consider it to be like a modern day Dickens story, I was also Pavloved from an early age with the opening tune.

Also I've recently been rewatching The Queens Nose, a kids series about a magic 50p that grants wishes. Anyway, I realised from the comments that when it originally aired I wasn't a kid then either! It just has a certain charm that appeals when I'm stoned it seems.

No regular TV watching for me, nor cable tv. I generally watch movies I collect on DVD and I change up my roster quite a bit depending on my mood, so lately been watching The Long Kiss Goodnight, Dollhouse, The Thing (Carpenter and the 2011 prequel), Emily of New Moon and a whole slew of classic 80s werewolf and vampire flicks. I have been meaning to watch The Walking Dead but haven't gotten round to it but I keep hearing its good.

I love Dexter, although I've only seen the first 3 series - I'm going to have to catch up with it before long, I think. I saw the first couple of episodes of The Wire, but I needed subtitles! :emb:

Series 4 is brilliant :aok: I thoroughly enjoyed it I must say :)
Yeah, the accents in The Wire can be a bit hard to understand, I got used to it though after a while :D
