I have a self-cleaning oven, but I misunderstood the meaning of that. There were no instructions, just the assumption that everyone knows how to deal with it.

Consequently, the first time I did actually give it a long overdue clean-out, it was like wrestling for many hours with a combination of treacle, tar, grease, glue & coal. :emb:
