Another Radio 4 Xtra fan here.

I like the plays & books being narrated. And unlike the TV, you employ your imagination to visualise characters & settings, and can listen while doing other things.

I'm not anti-TV though. I just don't get round to watching much. But I like watching whole series one after another on Netflix when I find something I like.

And I'll always sit down to a good film. It doesn't necessarily need to be full of spectacular special effects either - I love the old Hitchcock stuff & Ealing Studio comedies.
