Friday night I had a dream I was sitting in a meadow with my cat. We were just lounging around in the tall grass. A white stag exited a dark forest at the rim of the meadow, and trotted over to where we were. My cat became frightened and flew away. Flying cats should be strange, but it seemed normal there. Anyway, this stag started to chat with me telepathically (even stranger still). He told me that my life would improve if I would stop resisting what I was supposed to be doing. When I asked what I was supposed to be doing, he said, "You'll know". I tried asking more questions, but he ignored me and trotted back to the dark forest. I laid in the grass some more watching clouds, and pretty much put what the stag said behind me. I woke up not long after, got ready for work and left. As I left my neighborhood, an albino deer ran in front of my car. I was pretty spooked to say the least. :O :D

Ooo I love it! It certainly interesting that you would see an albino deer the following morning. This dream reminds me of one I had very recently about the white animals in standing in front of my house. They were a bit whimsical and wise. It was quite magical and emotional for me.

Loving all the dreams people! Looking forward to reading more :)

It was wild, Mountain. I'm just glad it was real early. My driving was a bit distracted. :D
The ones from your dream sounded more personable than the stag in mine. He was just there to deliver a message and was done with me after that point.

Mrindigo,

That is a really cool dream experience! Have you looked into deer symbolism? Must be significant that it was an albino, as well! That had to be a message for you or perhaps it is like your spirit animal or something. Maybe he was not done with you so much as introducing himself..."Hi! I'm your spirit guide, follow me!" Hey, ya never know! I don't see how it could be coincidence!

Anyways, last night I had a weird dream.

In my dream, I was back in my hometown, but for some reason, it seemed empty, no people around, no nothing. It was somewhat abandoned, and I could see a few pieces of paper/newspapers scattered around here and there, on the ground.

What do you think this means? Home being a ghost town? News/Information littering the ground?

Kumatora wrote:
Then I just started to walk, trying to figure out what the hell was going on, when I noticed this small paper on the ground. I picked it up and it looked like this:

Paper400

What do you think that means? Does the wording jump out at you in any way? Does the design of what is on the paper mean anything or stand out at all?
Kumatora wrote:
So I was like "wtf?" and I just folded the paper and put it in my pocket.

How many times did you fold it? And does the number of times you folded it have any significance for you?

***EDIT***

Also, which pocket did you put it into? And which hand are you, left or right? And, depending on which pocket you placed the paper, what do you usually keep in that pocket in everyday real life?? :D
Kumatora wrote:
Eventually, after walking some more, I reached a cemetary and I went into one of those mausoleum things, and it looked sorta like this:

What were your feelings upon finding and entering this place? Do you remember any particular smells or odors there? If so, what did they mean to you in the context of the dream and how does this impact the rest of the dream? Were smells/odors present at any other point of the dream sequence?
Kumatora wrote:
Then I remember the paper I had in my pocket... so I put my hands on the skulls and I said "Plato" and then the ground started to vibrate and shake.. I thought to myself, "an earthquake?", but then I realized that there was a new opening on one of the walls, and that that opening was somewhat illuminated, then I realized it was like a tunnel, so I went in there, and walked for a while.. and then I noticed stairs that went up (just like when you're coming out of the subway)

Damn, there's a LOT there! Does Plato have any significance for you? Also, what at the time of this dream in your life would you consider "ground-shaking" in the way of actual real life events or activities going on? Had you recently "gone deep inside yourself" to find anything? Has anything recently "erupted" in your life? Have you recently emerged from a dark place/period in your life?
Kumatora wrote:
So I went up the stairs... and fuck, lol... it was a very busy city, it looked sorta grayish/gloomy (it wasn't my hometown anymore) and there was a very busy population... most of them were demons and other weird creatures, and I did see humans too, but there were way more demons than people.

What were your feelings as you ascended the staircase? And also upon reaching the ground level, seeing the city that was no longer "home"? Does the demon/weird creature - humans ratio mean anything or stand out?

My thoughts are that you found this new view of the world (probably in great part to online reading/research) and it took you "underground" in search of things. The bigger picture/meanings behind the surface world we live in. The scattered pieces of paper/newspaper could symbolize the endless information we've come to know (the computer/information age) and represent past findings you've come across on your path (things that have led you to where you are now, knowledge-wise) and your home "not being your home anymore" might mean that you no longer see the world the way you once did, after reaching deep down into hidden knowledge, you've grown to see things more as they may actually be and not as they're passed off. Hence, being a stranger in your own hometown (planet Earth?).
Kumatora wrote:
Funny thing is, there was not a lake of fire, or people tortured or crazy stuff, if anything it looked like a normal day (as in, people rushing to work, open restaurants/various businesses, you know), and then I realized that I was in Hell... except that it wasn't like "we're told it is".

There's a LOT in that right there too!!!
Kumatora wrote:
And then of course I woke up. :( I wanted to see more of it!

Have you thought any more about this dream and have any more clues popped up as to meanings and what not??

Here's a dream that I had in 2006 that's remained fresh in my memory all these years. It was quite profound for me.

I was walking down a rundown street. It was a mix of old/condemned industrial complexes, and old two story Victorian homes. Metal fences line the sides of the street with weeds interwoven and intermingled between the chain links. There's old garbage all over. Some of it had been there so long that it was sun bleached and almost melted to the pavement. The scent of stale decay and rust filled my nose.

I was instantly aware that I was dreaming, which was the first time in a long time. Everything about the street told me to go back, but I felt compelled to continue on. I just had to know what was there. I walked for a while in the heat of the midday sun, watching the heatwaves rise up from the street and entangled roadside weeds. Not one sign of life was present, except for myself and the weeds, not even insects or birds were around. It was eerily quiet. Eventually I started to pass in front of this brown and yellow Victorian house on an overgrown hill. I felt like I knew this house, even though I didn't recall ever seeing it before.

I pushed open the rusty wrought-iron gate and proceeded up the overgrown front walk to the rundown porch. I had a fleeting moment of wanting to turn back, but entered the house anyway. As I entered into the darkness from the light, my nose was filled with the scent of stale death. I wanted turn and leave, but the door closed firmly behind me. I gave a few good tugs on the door, but it did not budge. I stood in place to allow my eyes to adjust to the dim red haziness of the interior as my heart raced. I thought to exit a window. They were how-ever boarded up and covered with dirty plastic sheets.

I stepped forward some into the room to get an idea of where I could go next. My eyes finally adjusted to the dark, revealing old piles of human bones on the floor. The old wooden floor was stained with what I assumed was old blood. The walls themselves had really old and peeling wall paper. I heard a scuffle somewhere in the house, and I really started to get scared at that point. I heard then a really creepy disembodied voice speak. It sounded like several different voices melded into one. It said, "Oh there you are... I think I'll come visit" and laughed.

I froze out of fear for a few seconds and scrambled behind one of the bone piles. Not long after, I noticed the room start to get darker than it was. A dark mass floated into the room and paused in the middle of the room. "I know you're here, and I'll find you too..." It continued on into the next room. I stood up and crept over to the left wall of the house where I noticed a long hallway. I figured it was my best bet to get out. As I went down the hallway, it started to become unnaturally dark. It got so dark that I had to run my hands along the wall to feel my way though. The further along I went, the more disgusting the wall felt. It was soggy and smelled horribly. I could feel insects crawling over my hand as I went along. I eventually reached the end of the hallway to find a large heavy wooden door, similar to the types in castles.

I pulled open the heavy door only to have it creek loudly. I was instantly thinking that I had given my position away and paused to listen for the dark entity coming. After about 30 seconds, there was nothing. I proceeded down a set of old stone winding steps. At the bottom I would reach an old crypt that had been converted into a storage space for old winery items. Vineyard buckets, casks, and other items were lined along the inlets in the wall. Thankfully the basement area had working hanging electric lights. I proceeded along until I reached a corner area with a bricked off door to my left, and a right turn toward a larger room with a bulked. It was my ticket out of there, so I started moving faster.

Unfortunately, I became a little too excited and knocked over a large pile of metallic wine buckets. They made a very loud echoing sound that seemed to reverberate through the whole house. I stopped instantly, holding my breath to listen. A few second passed, and I thought I was in the clear. Just as I went to continue on, I heard that creepy voice as the dark mass emerged from the bricked off door. "I found you!" it said, as it began to materialize. It took the shape of an undead woman with needle-like teeth, and sunken green eyes that glowed. I was frozen with fear at that point. She grinned at me, exposing the needle teeth and said, 'You're mine now!". She began to float toward me with an outreached claw.

I was to the point where I felt like I was pushed to my personal brink. I could feel my physical body sweating. Something happened though. I wasn't about to just give in. I started to glow an indigo color and broke out of the paralysis. The creature stopped floating toward me and looked a little frightened. She tried to go back into the wall, but I didn't let her. I sent my fist sailing at her right eye. When it connected, this disgusting green ooze started spewing out. The creature started to wail loudly, dematerialized back into the dark mass, and went back into the wall. The house shook violently at that instant, and continued to. It started to fall in on itself. The ceiling was caving in, dust was everywhere, and I felt disoriented. I heard yet another disembodied voice, though this one was different than the dark entity's. It was warmer and almost powerful in a sense. It only said one word, "Hurry!" With renewed clarity, I made a dash for the bulked. Just as I got there, the doors flew open. A blinding golden light filled the room. A person's hand was all I could make out. It was reaching for me. Who-ever it was had on white and gold armor. I reached up, and took the hand. I was pulled into the light and woke up in a pool of sweat.

Dayum!! Talk about the makings for an awesome episode of The Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits!! And what was so intense about it was that it was a lucid dream!! I always fuck my lucid dreams all up. Once I realize that I'm dreaming, I always perv out with my go-to-response after seeing that it's all lucidified with my famous "Naked chicks Everywhere, naked chicks EVERYWHERE!!!"

Then I wake up. Every damn time!

Elk: Stamina, Strength, Nobility

The appearance of an Elk signifies that you are entering a time of plenty. Everything you need you will get. An Elk totem teaches you how to pace yourself. You might not be the first to arrive, but you'll get there without burning out. Don't try for quick and easy; long and steady is the key to reaching your goals. If you have an Elk totem, you will feel the need for companionship or group support. You do not have to do everything alone, help is out there waiting for you if you just ask for it. People with Elk totems have a need for high energy levels and this can be accomplished through their foods. A diet that is mostly vegetarian will give you strength without stress. Vitamins are a good supplement.

www.linsdomain.com/totems-d-f.htm
Elk

Nobility, about to hit your stride in life, don't give up, have endurance for the long run, don't neglect the need to relate to others, adjustment of diet needs to be made to have strong energy levels. Elk teaches you don't need to walk the path alone, you have much wise help from Spirit. Are you pacing yourself accordingly? Do you want immediate results? Elk teaches patience in reaching your goals and aspirations. Have you simply asked for help? Elk will show you how to adapt to this stage in your life.
Deer

Power of gentleness, love, alertness, camouflage, balance and alertness, attention to subtler outside influences, ability to listen, attention, shows how to walk gracefully and carefully, connections to children and people for best interests of all, vision, hearing, smell, helps discern what actions to be done. Teaches empathy for others, soft direction and leadership abilities. Are you awakening to your own innocence? Are you listening to your inner child? Deer walks softly and gracefully. Are you ready for new opportunities that will reflect this gentle love to others?

I'm still not 100% sure what to make of the dream and experience. I've been thinking a lot about it, and I don't think it's coincidence either. Feel free to post some of your dreams too! :)

Haha, Phem!

Du-du-du-du... It would have made a good episode indeed. Naked chicks everywhere...that's just crazy enough to work! :D
Thanks for providing some symbolism links. It could help to make sense of the stag.

I had this dream years ago I've never forgotten. It wasn't the dream itself that was memorable, it was what happened at the end.

I was dreaming I was down the local park at night and there was this big crowd of people watching these UFOs that were flying about. I can't remember much else about the body of the dream apart from that, but I headed towards home and it was suddenly daytime (as dreams can do). I was about to cross the road and I suddenly thought "hang on - is this a dream?" So I stamped my foot on the floor a couple of times and I can vividly remember feeling the solid pavement. I could really feel the hard surface and I thought to myself, no this isn't a dream it's real. So I crossed the road, then it was like 'reality' split open, there was like a void full of different colours and then I woke up. It really freaked me out that I could consciously ask myself within a dream if it was a dream and be convinced it wasn't and so I've never forgotten that dream.

Kumatora,

I meant to reply yesterday when I first read the thread but am easily distracted! Anyway, I thought the images you provided were very curious indeed! Especially the position of the skulls and the fact that they were shown to you twice. Wish I could say what that means but I haven't a clue! :emb:

Anyway, the other thing was Plato. Oddly enough, later in the day, I got an email for I blog I loosely follow and the first sentence is about Plato.

This was my dream two nights go .

The shed at the bottom of my garden was operned (childhood garden) and evil was unleashed from it .

I spent alot of the dream trying to hide and get away from the evil .

At one point, in the dream, someone I know at trust in real life, went into a house and locked me out.

I then got more confident in my dream and started to say no ...go away .

The thing it was though is was scary and I woke myself up because I did not want that in my dreams

What do you think this means? Home being a ghost town? News/Information littering the ground?

It sorta did look like a ghost town in the sense that I couldn't see any other person about.. the buildings themselves were
not "crumbling" or "old", so it looked like (or at least I had the feeling) that whatever made people dissapear had happened
right before the start of the dream.
What do you think that means? Does the wording jump out at you in any way? Does the design of what is on the paper mean anything or stand out at all?

Well, obviously the position of the skulls on the paper was sorta to indicate the place where this "action" was to take place... for whatever reason I thought that this paper must be important, so that's why in the dream I decided to fold it and keep it in my pocket. The paper looked sorta old, too.
How many times did you fold it? And does the number of times you folded it have any significance for you?

I think I folded that paper around 3 times, and no, I don't think the times have any significance... if it does, it doesn't hit me yet. :P
***EDIT***

Also, which pocket did you put it into? And which hand are you, left or right? And, depending on which pocket you placed the paper, what do you usually keep in that pocket in everyday real life??

I put it in the right front pocket of my jeans. I'm right handed. And the stuff I usually keep in that pocket is.. well, money or coins :P
What were your feelings upon finding and entering this place? Do you remember any particular smells or odors there? If so, what did they mean to you in the context of the dream and how does this impact the rest of the dream? Were smells/odors present at any other point of the dream sequence?

The first thing I noticed when I went into that mausoleum or whatever, was how quiet it was. I mean obviously I wasn't expecting a fucking concert in there, lol, but at least I expected to see one of those people that take care of the cemetary or something... so when I got close to where the skulls were, when I put my hands on them, I remember thinking: "Wonder if this will work". I don't remember any odors, btw.
Damn, there’s a LOT there! Does Plato have any significance for you? Also, what at the time of this dream in your life would you consider “ground-shaking” in the way of actual real life events or activities going on? Had you recently “gone deep inside yourself” to find anything? Has anything recently “erupted” in your life? Have you recently emerged from a dark place/period in your life?

Well, I wouldn't say I have emerged from a dark place/period in my life, but I feel like I know what to do, as in what path to take in my life, I guess.
What were your feelings as you ascended the staircase? And also upon reaching the ground level, seeing the city that was no longer “home”? Does the demon/weird creature — humans ratio mean anything or stand out?

When I ascended the staircase, I wasn't "afraid" of what I might or not find out there, it was more of a curiosity thing. When I realized that they were demons/creatures AND humans, I found it amazing that people could get along like that.

Hi everyone, long time no talk, real life things have been massively blah recently and I tend to go all insular and avoid social things. :(

Anyway, the reason I came back today is last night I had a very strange dream, I can't remember most of the details now but there was a repeated message of 'Stay away from Angel East' there was no explaination as to why but I knew something bad was going to happen there. When I woke up I felt like I had to tell people and also in my head Angel East was to do with London. I don't know what it means or if it means anything but I really felt it was important to share. I'm not going to say OMG Olympic prediction of DOOM! but I had to share it because it's bugging me if I don't. Any thoughts?

Have you been viewing or reading anything to do with the olympics at all as there's quite alot of it about?

I've recently watched a short youtube video that wasn't very pleasant, focusing on the recent adverts... it didn't leave me feeling very good I know that much.

Weirdly enough, no. I avoid it like the plague, I have enough negative things in my head to do with immediate and me related things so have been dodging the conspiracy stuff because it's so doom heavy at the moment. This dream was out of nowhere. I don't want it to be a prediction of impending badness, I don't know what to make of it but sometimes I have dreams that have messages or important things in them and I have a specific feeling afterwards and I have that feeling now. I will say I've never has a prediction of the future in a dream that I'm aware of so I'm not assuming anything.

Well you're the second person I've heard of recently that has had a dream that they think may be connected to the upcoming event. Hope that doesn't make you feel worse girl... not my intention. I guess the only thing you can do is go with your first instinct and mention it to people if you can. Something that's not easy to do, as you'll know.
And of course, let's hope there's nothing in it.

That's interesting, I did wonder if anyone else had had similar dreams, I feel better after just posting here, I hope it's nothing as well, I'd much rather have everyone save and unharmed than have a potentially prophetic dream come true, I'm not doing this bearer of impending doom thing right am I? From what I've seen of the typical doomsayers on the net you're supposed to tell everyone you KNOW it will happen and they'll regret not heeding your words and bring on the mayhem and death and woo yeah! :nilly:

If I have any related or strange dreams I'll post them too, I keep meaning to do dream diaries because all mine have stories and lots of potentially interesting imagery/symbolism. My subconscious is a mine of fascinating things if my dreams are anything to go by. ;)

Welcome back, Merla! Was wondering where had you been, glad to hear you're alright, and yeah, don't worry, I'm pretty sure that the things you're worried about will go away/fix themselves, so, put a big smile on your face! :) We're all in this boat together.

Aww thank you :) I really appreciate that.

Real life is sort of rubbish right now, I'm coming to the end of a long appeal against the DWP for my benefit which means a tribunal at the end of this month,it's not fun but at least an end is in sight. I'm sure there are people on here going through the exact same thing what with all the baddies in charge blaming the sick and disabled for the economy and saying we should be working even though we're too ill and there aren't enough jobs for the fit to work anyway. Grrrr. I'm sure this could be affecting my dreams, stress is a big contributor to nightmares after all.

I'm currently listening to nice and relaxing bits of Chopin to try and help me sleep, I have pretty bad insomnia at the moment :( Fingers crossed for no more doom dreams.
