My son used to laugh at the wall and interact with a 'being' neither myself or his dad could see.

Once he was old enough to talk he said he was talking to 'baba'

Apperently baba is a proctector of childen , I had never heard of baba before my son mentioned him.

He also used to suck the end of his blanket and called it a sop. I'd never heard the term sop before but it apparently means comforter?

I think it's a shame us a adults don't listen to children and learn from them.

I have been told I used to sit on my bed and talk to my dead auntie ...I think there is another world out there but adults often quash or dismiss what people see as children as 'imagination'

My step-cousin when he was a kid, around 4, used to talk to someone called Bobo. And in his nan's room he saw a picture of Jesus and pointed at it and said "Bobo" :O

It's interesting. I've never had anything like that. I've never had any paranormal type experiences at all really

When I was very young I apparently used to talk about 'the little man at the bottom of the bed'. I have no memory of where that came from nor any memory of anything I saw or believed was real.

One of my nieces used to appear to be watching and laughing at some invisible thing moving about above her cot regularly. When she started nursery, she also described people in terms of what colour (we think) their aura was - i.e. her teacher was that nice, bright purple woman.

My kids never did that, but my daughter used to say all kinds of things as a nipper that made me think she was telepathic, though she doesn't do it now.

Her 1st pair of proper shoes were little white & pink leather ankle boots with teddies on the side - cute things, about 2.5 inches long. When I put them on her for the 1st time, that daft song, "Kinky Boots", popped into my head. It was triggered by a memory of being small myself & my dad saying it to me when I got a pair of boots. I didn't say anything, or hum it, and I'm pretty sure she'd never have heard the song, but she looked up enquiringly, and said, "Kinky shoes?". This was the time of life when you expect kids to be struggling to say, "Mum" & "Dad".

I'm intrigued by the Baba & Bobo thing. Very interesting.

My parents tell me I used to talk all night to an "old lady" in my cot.

I still like talking to old ladies. They're pretty cool.

Yes he does... most of the time he will watch them or ignore them (got that from me probably lol), he doesn't interact with a lot of them but will sit and watch them. I encourage him to interact with them or at least not completely ignore them as that's how I think kids lose the ability, society tells them they are just "imaginary" friends and slowly pushes kids to ignore it. He does play with my mom's dad and a few others though.

Noticed this with my friends new baby too, she's only about a month old but she'll lay there while you hold her and watch her great-grandfather on her grandfathers side, and anyone else who happens to show up. Very alert and "in-tune" with visitors from the next life. Is probably what keeps her so quiet and content, she's got a full range of visitors to occupy her in the waking hours.
I came into this world kicking and screaming while covered in someone elses blood
and I have no problem with going out the same way
