What many might think the stones are saying is that, but my thesis on the Bronze age settlements says otherwise, the population then similar to what we see today but spread out and all active on the land.
Half a billion is how many people could with technology could live without a population boom using machines instead of people.
The scenarion of the 12 day rule is real and factual if you studdy natural dissaster zones and remove the rescue services.
The calorific value of oil is another clue using its greater advantages.
At present we have taken roughly 87% of edible non replaceable marine life, in other words not farmer but eaten.
The planets natural resorces are being depleted by the oil advantage.
The 12 day rule will eventually play out ont, we have depleted in less than 100 years using technology that it would take the planet threefold to replace, and I think they are going to use technology with less number to let the gaia heal, it will fail of course.

to the aprrentice ......do you think the guidestones are just telling people what is optimum number before overpopulation destoys the planet ?
I do in a way.
I think people and modern medicine want to keep everyone alive , where if they were me/us/everyone and just died natuarlly there would be no overpopulisation
