Thanks for that clarity bruv because I have been concerned my clarification speel of where I stood had maybe fucked you off.
I absolutely stand by what I said, (it was an honest reaction to my perception at the time), but that outcome was never what I sought. I'd have been gutted if that was the result.

Of course the dangers of repeated jibes is that they can end up being taken at face value and others may adopt them as having a basis. That can wear folks down and have them questioning themselves then them end up saying "fuck it".

Perhaps I got the wrong end of the stick and spouted but if that perversely results in us sorting some of this out, s'all good.

You are still a complete and utter knob obviously. (no I don't actually mean that)

Two days ago I went as far as searching out which forum to post a positive mod thread in. Obviously I didn't post it, though I probably should have. Anyway, this thread is one that has appeared that can be where I put my positive statement about the modding on SZ.

Firstly, I concur with what Gilly has posted.

Secondly, I would like to thank those that have previously done, will in future do, and are currently doing mod duties. Thank you one and all, you have helped to make my experience upon this forum a positive one and I appreciate it. :thumbup: :heart: :rose: :kiss:

Thirdly, if I can help out in any way, shape or form, then I'm willing to do so. Having been admin on the Infinite Love Forum since 2007, and been paying the expenses since PM-gate, I know how to do some things, though to be perfectly blunt, I know fuck all about the technical side of it all as Ant originally, and since PM-gate Ugis, have done the technical side of things. While there are some differences with Infy than here, it's only small things and for all intents and purposes is modded in the same manner.

I can truthfully state that I have stood up against mod's elsewhere, which ended up getting me banned on the DI f (and even saw some rules change because of me; no questioning mods being one). No great loss there, as while there may some awesome people that go through the place, the place itself is a concentration camp. This place in no way, shape or form reflects such moderation attitude, and if each and everyone is being completely honest, they will admit to as well.

Well, I've rabbited on enough, so I'll finish with a thank you to everyone member on the forum (which includes admin/mod's ;) ), this is a forum that I am willing to spend time on, which considering how few forums (as well as Infy being the only other one I currently still post on) I have actually joined says a lot.

How defensive and dismissive some people have become on the matter is, well, disconcerting. I almost get the impression that certain matters are not up for discussion, this too is disconcerting.

I think it might be easy to confuse your suspicion of moderation as suspicion of moderators, even though, as you say, you have not crticised a mod.

I also think that we can sometimes be over-protective of each other, which while is rather touching and nice, does mean that we over-react when any one of us is perceived to be "under attack" when in fact they aren't.

My first instinct upon reading this thread was to storm in to your defence. :axe: But I trust folks here and I think I am right when all we have here is a misunderstanding of each others' POV.
