For example creativity requires both sides of the brain, not one or other, big picture, small picture, focus, detail, it's absolute that most inventors such as those who invent technology are using both sides, the right side to wonder, the left side to establish.

One side will be useless, the same applies for everything else really, there is no right side or left side, it's more like the right side addresses the left side by comparing ideas to what is already known, in other words the right side might think of a new idea, the left side looks at the idea and identifies specifics, so both sides have equal roles in creativity, otherwise we'd have millions of creative ideas that don't work.

A lot was learned about functions of the different hemispheres when it was common practice to experiment on people classed as lunatics, and lobotomies were thought to be a good game. But yes, the 2 hemispheres would normally work in conjunction with each other. That doesn't mean folk can't have tendencies to exercise one side more naturally than the other, i.e. more readily use logical than imaginative thought, or vice vera in the first instance. The term 'left' or 'right brained' doesn't mean you only utilise one side
