are you saying that guns are ok because un related statistics of gun deaths and murders by other means prove it ?

er dunblane , roal moat etc were do these mass killings by lone gunmen fit into statistics ?
few weeks ago a guy went mental in glasgow running up a busy street slashing and stabbing people imagine if it was that guys civil right to own a gun , he injured a dozen or more people ffs imagine football gangs armed with guns because its their right ffs your statistical argument is so flawed it doesn't pass basic scrutiny :hedbut:

I wouldn't want to see the UK become like the US in this respect
There are 420,000 firearms in people's homes in Switzerland, and their homicide rate is half that of the UK, where such behaviour is strictly prohibited by the state. Despite this, since stricter regulations came into place, firearm-related incidents have increased. This is not some tenuous opinion from a pro-gun pressure group, it is from the British Journal of Criminology.

The point is that the relationship between guns, government regulation and firearm ownership is more complex and nuanced than either the completely pro or anti-gun people would have you believe, and also there is not a definitive correlation between number of guns per head of population and number of homicides.

Mushy, in that video AJ didnt say that it was catergorically an MK Ultra case, he said that there are also other VERY FEASIBLE ways of carrying out a false flag attack. "Miind control" isnt necessarily required for a patsy to be set up. People can EASILY be framed without using "mind control". Btw I have no idea if this was a false flag or not, but AJ DOES make some interesting points in that video.

To be honest, I havent really followed the story in any depth, did the "shooter" die ?

Yes, I agree with you.

Also note there is no arms entitlement allowed for hunting or self-defence in the amendment, purely State's defence.
Something else which has become twisted for convenience over time by arms lobbyists.

p.s.
I erroneously cited the 4th amendment in my original post, (which I have now corrected), it is of course the 2nd amendment.
My apologies.

psychiatric disorders vary , the kind required for a person to lose empathy and responsibility etc cant be induced even those born with such disorders arent guaranteed to go out and kill ,
so my answer would be an emphatic no you couldnt induce a state of mind that would create a total zombie killing machine
do i think experiments are taking place , i wouldnt be suprised to hear some crackpots trying to have a go but theres no point
they dont work couldnt work and would have limited usefulness if successful anyway .

imagine this shooter was mk ultra it would take years away from public veiw in a centre somewhere with millions of dollars spent on his training treatment whatever you call it ,
what for to kill some people in a theatre on the off chance that a gun reform would go through (no certainty even that it would work , he could get shot before he did it he could give himself up and blow the whistle on mk ultras base camp etc or the law just doesnt go through anyway }
so millions spent on achieving nothing .,, mk ultra is non existent bullshit .

We will probably never 'know' why this guy did what he did - sure as hell wont get the 'truth' from the papers nor from any trial - whatever the reasons I feel huge sympathy for those affected by his actions and am left wondering when the 'right to bear arms' became the ability to kit oneself out with more weapons and bullets then one would ever need to 'protect' oneself.

I am anti gun - would rather no one had em and that we lived in a word where no one felt the need to have one let alone use one - though I do realise we are far from living in such a world - I am reminded of the question that michael moore posed in bowling for columbine about where the 'right to bear arms' ends - guns, knives, bombs, tasers, nuclear weapons? what a fucked up word we live in...

If there are people born without empathy, and such people can be sussed out, then I do think that you can create a killing machine, and I think certain segments of the military, along with the normal training, have programs to create these killing machines, why wouldn't they? Isn't that their game? I have no doubts that someone with sociopathic disorders can be "programmed" in the right circumstances and that it would not take years to turn them into someone that can be manipulated.

I saw an article in a vintage Life Magazine, where a man was put in a room by himself and deprived of sleep and it did not take more than a few days for him to become somewhat psychotic and disfunctioning. Step up the game and who knows what you can create with someone who is already wired differently.

And we have all met people like this (alot of us have anyway I would say). And once programmed (forget the fancy name "MK Ultra") you are just left with a "trained psychotic killer".

Yeah, steevo, I have met people who have no empathy, and strangely enough, I have noticed that what they lack in sensitivy towards others, is made up in being supersensitive themselves at any perceived slight. So I think that this lack of empathy is usually accompanied with a weakness that makes them susceptible to being manipulated and used.

I have noticed the very same charactaristics, and what you have said about being easily manipulated in this way DOES seem feasible, and I'm sure that this theory has been fully put to the test by those "psychiatrist" people
