Do you care about him? Do I care about you? Do you care about me? Do we care about Abbas Khan and the truth about his death? Do we care about Syria? Do we care about the rest of the UK that we have never met? Do we even care about current events, SZ members opinions about them or indeed anything outside of our own sphere of experience and familiarity?

If the answer is yes, then you really don't care and are just pretending; which all started in the 80's with Diana.

If the answer is no, then there is little to discuss.

Happy New Year,
thank you St Jude for favours granted

why? cant you tell? :chuckle: I think starting in the new year I need to cut back on the number of sites I am on.

I guess that answers that question.
Why is it then that your story at the TZ differs from your story here?
Here you say you live on Dartmoor. There you say NW Devon.hagrid wrote:

Here you say you worked hard all your life to get a nice retirement. There you mention dole etc..hagrid wrote:

I could go on but why is it your two back stories differ so much?
Why is it that you are making statements over there that are identical to ones you've made here that I have already exposed as being ill informed paranoid fallacy? Ref your laughable comments about agriculture.
Are you trying to find an interwebz 'home' where you can spout stuff unchallenged by reality?

If you can, please answer bearing this other post of yours at TZ in mind:hagrid wrote:

I shall try and answer your questions, don't really know why you are that interested but here goes: I live in North Devon a few miles from the Northern part of DARTMOOR. I was one the dole 3 times the last time in the 1990's, I've also been on Incapacity benefit, then onto DLA, I am currently on a State and company pension. the liar was someone else on another site who the wife and I caught lying about himself not once but 3 or 4 times. and no I don't trust anyone else apart from the missus, its called having a life times experience. anything else??

I'm interested because I don't like folk who are 'creative' with the truth.
In the now deleted self sufficiency thread you stated you live on Dartmoor. You've also stated that you worked hard all your life and that is how you could afford to live in a beautiful place like Dartmoor.
Now you turn round and admit that you actually live in a town, not on Dartmoor and have spent time on benefits...including DLA....You don't get on DLA unless you are pretty incapacitated now do you. Unlikely to be a short term thing...
So clearly, when you arrived here, you tried to paint a false impression of who you are. That is the issue I have. If you are prepared to tell falsehoods about yourself, it rather calls into question everything you say. Namely if you're a liar, you're probably a liar.
You tried to portray yourself as one thing in order to get people to take the things you say seriously. When in fact, you are not the person you said you were. Tbh, considering the ridiculous things you have said about agriculture etc, you had very little chance of being taken seriously anyway so you needn't have bothered trying to give yourself a cloak of credibility. So why did you lie?

nowhere did I say I actually lived ON Dartmoor currently , I DID live on Dartmoor in the late 80s in a miners cottage at a place called BRENTOR-not in the village but out in a hamlet on the edge of the moor i have also lived in Cornwall-torpoint,polbathic and east taphouse. I have worked all my life but like other people I have had periods of employment following redundancy-not unusual in the construction industry. my comments on farming were based on my wife's experience in the 60s and early 70s plus what I know goes on here locally which as I stated is hill farming and small family farms, this area was in the middle of the last foot and mouth outbreak. my DLA was based on an old back injury sustained when I was self employed, like I said I am now retired. you cannot say I am not the person I am-you do not know me. anyway that's enough about me, I think I don't want to put any more personal info on what is an open forum.

The area North of Dartmoor could certainly not be described as "hill farming" country. You are going off on the BS spiral again

No, I am speaking from a place of knowing the area, rather well. It is far from being all upland. The area has numerous valleys complete with associated silts which are eminently suitable for agriculture. In fact the Culm Grasslands have been in steep decline for the past century or more...

Again, fair shout but please consider that just because you believe something, it doesn't mean it's a fact. Your beliefs on the ability of Britain to feed itself being a good example. Sometimes we need to accept that our knowledge is awry. Sometimes we need to accept we don't know everything. Especially if we are building a world view on said knowledge/belief.

you'd better get your arse up here and take a good look, there are PLENTY of culm measures I could show you, sure if you go EAST of my location you arrive at the red soil which is excellent soil but here IN MY IMMEDIATE AREA we are on SOLID BALL CLAY.
