Alongside the named mods there are those who are the tech advisers - ex sheep, krakhead, I_Am - cant remember the other ones though am sure there are a couple more - I am guessing they are more like the 'global moderators' here - i.e have more permissions to do stuff.

There are also posts out there on the www that claim and name the socks for mods from way back when pmg1 happened.

No means of confirming whether they were a mod or a 12yr old trolling.
Nothing said which can be substantiated or even made much sense.
All of it could be dangerous if quoted as fact and repeated though.

If they are mods from DIF, why do they keep coming here? Maybe they just like hanging out with us

I can't get into the chat anyway, so I always miss these incidents.

I think some do miss peeps that are here irre - if you think about the peeps that are here they are often the ones who 'connected' most with others in that they contributed to the friendliness and community of the place as it once was rather then only participating on the heavier threads.

Plus a lot of people here were members of the dif for a long time - when the chat rooms did work and when the tone was entirely different.

Having said that the suspicious side of me thinks there is a lot more to it then that.

The thing is, if the admin of the DIF are coming from a place of fear, fear of losing members, fear of The Sanctum Zone growing bigger and better, then it's a slippery slope, and they'll slide down it fast. I think their focus is in the wrong place, tend to your own garden and all that.
