I'll actually answer your question.
I joined up at the DIF because I hoped it would be a place where I could talk about things that are not exactly encouraged to be discussed in many places, with people who had seen through the BS. What I found was that the DIF was full of people who wanted/want to label people, generalise whole swathes of humanity, blame others for their own shortcomings and generally be all argumentative for the sake of it.
Now could you answer my q please?

To address your view about "the predicament". I really don't think I'm trying to avoid having the discussion. I would just like to see us have the discussion in the spirit of the Sanctum Zone. Rather than the DIF. Do you see where I'm coming from there?

With regard to the holocaust, having looked at it (albeit not so much as you seem to have), it's my view that the figures were certainly ummmmmm massaged as a propaganda tool.
