one of the joys of this place is that traffic does not equal cash - no adverts see - people are free to donate should they choose to - no one has to - the difference being we know exactly how much is needed to run this place and how much has been donated - again that little transparency thing which is part of the change we wished to see...

edit - no paid staff either - and no one to answer to accept each other - it is our site - certain members have put in an incredible amount of work for it to happen - others money where their mouths and principles are - to date they have never pulled rank - they have never attempted to tell us 'they will do as they see fit' and they view this place as a community based and led one - I admire that more then I can ever express - I am inspired and have some faith restored as a result.
