Actually Cathar thought that America, by which he means "The Real America" in the same way Phelps Family mean "the real Church", was kinda more "don't tread on me" and regarded his own back yard as the last bastion of decency in a dysopian world doomed by the NWO, by which he meant anything outside his comfort zone.

OTOH Knight was more of a utopian fanatsist dreaming of a world ruled by Kings and Queens in a heirachy of "decency" by which he meant anything within his comfort zone.

They both certainly showed an appetitie for the fall of civilisation (instead of mending/healing it) and a luddite urge towards modern life despite posting on internet forums. I think, though that cathar really does just want to see the World burn/sink/freeze/pop/splat and for him to be the last one to see it go with a big "told you so" sign in one hande and his cock in the other.

OTOH Knight wants to return the population to an early Hollywood vision of what Medieval life was meant to be like. The sort of vision that you might find on the covers of Courtly Love poem anthologies. That would of course mean the "necessary" deaths of millions, a return to fuedalism and the eradication of the achievements of the Reanaisance, Enlightenment, Industrial, Technological and Information Ages but he felt that was worth it, just so long as he could feel "kightly" and noble.
