Thought this man deserves a thread all to himself. Personal favourite of mine. He's damn good at what he does and is continually turning the system around to throw it right back into the faces of the people who screw us on a daily basis. He takes the piss in a very unique way in my opinion and long may he continue to do so.

To start with, this the 'My Life In Serious Organised Crime' set that he toured with a few years back. It is extremely informative and also very funny throughout... and ALL of it happened as stated

Mark Thomas is a socialist who endorses the Green Party and actively pushes the Global Climate Change agenda. The same goes for Rob Newman.

I have always like these fellows, just dont like their politics .

He's not much of an activist, he had nothing to say when I asked what he thought of the Hollie Grieg case.

Saying Mark Thomas is not much of an activist is really ignorant of all that he does I think. Mark Thomas is very funny. I also highly recommend his books. I have read a couple of them and another is on the way. You know when his show used to be on t.v. they upset a lot of people which is why that stuff is so hard to come by now apart from these few clips on youtube. He did stuff about Nuclear trains and weapons trading etc. I saw him at the comedy tent at Reading and it was standing room only.

I found a torrent once that had loads of his shows on it but I think it got lost in a crash. Great smart funny guy. Much respect to the OP. Go to the head of the class.

In regards to the bolded bit above.... all his TV shows where on megaupload and where all lost when taken over by this delightful bunch below ... but I managed to trace down one of his team and the gentlman I emailed was really lovely and told me he'd send the WHOLE set of series on discs for a small handling fee of £7, which I jumped at. I now have them all

Mark Thomas is one of those rare people who seems 100% sincere and has managed to be a media personality without becoming corrupted by it. And he went on TV and highlighted issues you hardly ever - or maybe never - heard about on TV and he did it in an entertaining way. The guy is a gem. He's what Michael Moore likes to think he is.

I actually have the Dispatches documentary Mark Thomas did about Coca-cola ... downloaded it 4 - 5 years ago now. I noticed Boywonder has posted it ... if you haven't seen it I recommend having a watch of it, it's good.

Managed to catch Marks show 'Bravo Figaro' at the Fringe last weekend and would just like to say it was very very good.

Completely different to his normal work... it was very personal and based around the relationship with himself and his now dying father. I enjoyed it immensely.
