I was going to say sea slug...no really I was...

There might be new species coming into creation all the time but we don't really notice it. It's easy to think that the only life on earth is the estabilished life already here and not yet discovered.
I wonder how it comes about? I mean if a new life form can just appear from out of nowhere...

I think the majority of discoveries are things that have been around for millenia but have never been catalogued before, I suppose new species must come into existence (or there would only be one) but I think it happens over thousands of generations.
at least if the Darwin's theory of evolution is true.

Brazilian Wandering Spider

This to me is the most terrifying spider in the world! It has devestating venom and causes a very strange side effect...

Just took this pic of this moth in my bathroom...it's as big...it's as big as my hand... only joking It's about 1 and 3/4 inches across.
I've gone past sleep so I'm up at 3 in the morning taking photos of moths I like moths, but I'm glad you don't get hand sized ones in England



The camera is a bit rubbish as well. It doesn't have an anti blur mechanism, so good pics are dependant upon good light and a very steady hand

For some reason, my daughter, sister & a sister-in-law are all terrified of them, even the tiny ones, and of butterflies. I don't get it. You'd think they were being attacked my a dragon if they see one close by.
