tbh,. I'd say Jane's son got the better footage.

Thanks DG, I'll tell Tris, he'll be pleased. I've just checked his you tube and he's had 3,990 hits! Somebody is wondering if he got hit by a car at the end! :O Somebody else thinks it's a UFO cos it 'slowed down" behind the trees :killinme:

Just a final word on this meteor event...Tris learnt a valuable lesson tonight...email is as slow as snail mail if you don't check it! The BBC wrote him 2 days ago asking for permission to broadcast his film footage! Ho hum!

Cool.
I saw one burn up after entering the atmosphere a few weeks ago and it seemed to last for a good few seconds.... but that must have been a whopper!

Aha!! We now know for sure that silver is NOT a connoisuer of the 'golden arches', hence the school-boy menu related error above.

Or maybe he/she typed that on purpose, to try and befuddle us further?

That's always the case, a watched kettle never boils. As they say.
The good old BBC :) I found an article that said all BBC staff must be vetted by mi5, they know everything that is going on inside of that establishment. I was surprised that things would need to be that strict.

The last time I went into McDonalds me & my mate had a piss on the toilet floor & thought that was anarchy.
Probably a good 25 years ago though .... but I'm certain the 'whopper' is BK? :conf:

Not that it matters... it's what occurred in the manner of an advert in your head that does at the mere mention of a word!
