Silver is ridiculously undervalued.

As for gold it'll still climb as normal in the long run, it always has done.

Looking at that inverse head and shoulders pattern, I would say the only reason that silver isnt at $45 (or higher) now is due to market manipulation. Personally I reckon it is going up - this video seems good at explaining whats been going on recently:

This very clearly explains the manipulation that is occurring:

If you dont know what a head and shoulders pattern is then check out this vid:

btw I called this pattern on DIF way before Maloney and gave myself a chufty badge.

I really hope you 2 are right... but I kind of been expecting this moment for a couple years. What I mean is, I always said that both gold and silver will keep on rising until they reach a limit, and then start to go down and stabilize at the media between the peak price and the price before the crisis began... $25-30 is that price for silver, and I calculated around $1250-1500 for gold.

Then, of course, they will continue to slowly rise due to inflation and devaluation; but not at the pace we saw last year... well, that's MHO; and I really hope I'm wrong and that you 2 are right.

Yeah, and I hope we're right too :hide:
Actually Im trying to convince myself as much as I am you :chuckle: If you watch the last vid i posted, at 6:50 he says the biggest support for silver, if it does go down, is at $21. So lets just hope that doesnt happen. Ive considered selling now, but I just keep holding out to see what happens next week and so it goes on. Truth is I havent got a clue about the subject and dont really know whats going to happen. Im tempted to flip a coin on it. or, if you sell, then ill sell too :P

Also, I don't really trust these guys (Michael Maloney, Peter Schiff, Robert Kiyosaki, and company)... they live off of selling gold and silver bullion, so, what else are they going to say... that the prices will go down? Of course they're always going to push gold and silver and say they are undervalued and will rise exponentially; that's their business.

I began to distrust them when I heard them lie about investing in numismatic coins... they would be surprised how much more money I made so far with numismatic coins as compared with bullion coins; up to 10x more.

From the beginning I invested in numismatic coins; so I've been buying and selling all along. That's the only way to really make money with commodities, as they don't produce other revenues.

Of course, Maloney and co. are not going to tell you that (but that's what they do); they want their customers to keep on buying and stacking... they are salesmen after all.

I don't trust them either, but what Maloney said in that video is true, and that silver could easily go down to $21 - but his take on that is that its a good stacking opportunity. My take is that its a good be pissed off with myself opportunity for buying at the wrong time. But i still think silver will go way up, and im happy to have some money in metals as it is a good insurance to have. And even if the price goes way down, as long as it goes way up in the long run, im not going to be bothered about it.

But I guess the spot price isnt such a big deal for you personally if youre in numismatic coins? As the real value is the desirability of the coin.

Yes, I agree... it will surely keep on going up in the long run.

The spot price also affects numismatic coins -specially those near to BV-; its value is calculated adding the premium plus the BV. That´s also why they are a better investment, because you gain on the gold/silver content, and since they never get any younger, the premium also always goes up (except for rare cases).

What you have to ask yourselves (and think about this carefully), is what is the point in playing a part of a game trading gold and silver for money when;

a) You have to deal with a middleman who will take a cut
b) We live in volatile times such as these and money is perhaps best invested in what apprentice talks about
and just as important..
c) What if money goes 100% digital? So you trade in your solid gold and silver for what???! Who will set the prices? Who's going to know what real market value is anymore after that? Will it even be legal to trade!? Will TSHTF and will no-one want it because food and clean water is worth more?

Some real soul searching questions to ask tbh and I don't like where the questions lead and with each day that passes now the news gets more and more calamitous

Oh yes, of course, I agree with you... but, don't they want us to "play" capitalism? then I can be as good a capitalist as anyone else... and live of it without much effort. It might not last for long; but I'll surely continue to benefit from it while it does... and I have to admit I ended up falling in love with some of those gorgeous coins... my precious... :D

I agree, but for me silver feels more comfortable than cash saved in the bank. I think there are lots of unknowns, but feel confident that at some stage i my future these coins will come in handy. I wont be investing further in metals and i'm now stocking up on things which might not be available if tshtf. That way I will have some kind of buffer which will afford me time to learn skills as I go along so I dont have to hit the ground running. I can learn fishing, growing veg and zombie slaying, all at a leisurely pace. :)
ps and yes water is top priority. I have ways of sterilizing and purifying water before I run it through distillation followed by carbon filters, then Its gets vortexed to make it taste amazing too!

I trust Mike Maloney. Why? I've followed Kiyosaki for the last 12 years. I've watched what he says and I've listened, I've researched more and found that what he said was accurate. When you understand the manipulation of the markets and the planned collapse, you realise that any sane person would want to warn others. Apart from Mike Maloney, finding what he loves and doing it, which is market analysis, he has always warned against numismatic coin investment.

We also have Lindsey Williams predictions of a planned economic collapse in the second half of this year to contend with. Williams, well, he did wake me up to abiotic oil but let's see if this comes to pass. As he says, their plans can change but things do look favourable for this outcome.

Here is another prediction from Bill Murphy. If you've followed the boys at Gata, you'll understand that though 'no one knows', such warnings should be heeded as they've proved right before.

It did go up a fair bit today, I think this is because the dollar bombed:

There is an interesting video about the silver situation here:
