Hei Domathy.
I'm in Finland... Now it's warm, but overcast. Nice weather, keeps the pollen down, it's quite damp and there's no wind.
Yea, good sleep makes a difference. I know all too well, I'm a certified insomniac at times..
Now it seems, after three days, the water+pinch of salt really starts to make difference, I've got three minor asthma attacks today, and I've been able to fight them all off with ONLY water+salt. No need to use the goddamn meds. Which I really like... I despise all the medical garbage, I hate to take any of that. But now it seems soon I will not have to.
I was wondering, how long does the detox take? Commercial ciggies are so full of all kinds of crap which probably accumulates over time... Nicotine leaves quite quickly, but all the other crap must take longer time I guess. I'm too lazy to search the web for this... And MSM & big pharma probably have all kind of lies about this..
Do you guys know any good information on this?
I like how you say Hei in Finland
Youre right about the meds - they only treat the symptom and untimately just perpetuate the problem. If you keep improving, then as you say, hopefully you wont need to meds anymore!
I dont know how long it would take to detox your body, its like the question which asks 'how long is a piece of string?' - as it depends on certain factors, such as how much youve polluted your body. Generally speaking, if you cover the basics like drinking water and eating some vegetables, then your body will do detoxify in its own time. Its only when we dont cover the fundamentals, that toxins really build up instead of being eliminated. Of course, you can really get into detoxing on deeper levels - for instance, I quit smoking and obviously my body cleared most of the crap out quite quickly, but then a few years later I did some fasting and deep cleansing, and all this black crap started coming out into my blood (i look at blood for a livinng btw

) which had been held in my lungs and fatty tissue i guess. Heavy metals can stay in the bones for a lifetime unless you consciously move them out. But, it depends what your personal health goals are, because if you just want to have no symptoms, feel generally well and have plenty of energy - then you dont need to go extreme with detoxing.
Anyway, here is my article about tobacco etc, if you go to page 3 of the article you will see the picture of tar/chemical residue in the blood, in case you want soe extra motivation to quit:

Also, for general diet info, here is another of my articles (btw, the article was written with people who have health probs in mind, but you can pick and choose info without needing to go extreme with diet):
