Nettles are amazing.

I had a rash on my leg, and the doctor couldn't figure it out. So I took a load of fresh nettles and rubbed them all over the rash. I had that tingly feeling for about 15 minutes, next day the rash was gone.

Friend of mine was telling me recently about a 'cure' his mum used to use to treat his brother's alopecia.

She'd grind fresh nettles into a paste (after boiling) and paint onto effected area. Apparently, his brother didn't like the smell, but it worked quite well.

I wonder if it'll work for baldness?

*Goes off a-huntin' for nettles out the back*

I had my first EVER cup of chamomile tea yesterday made from fresh chamomile flowers!!

100% organic that I grew myself!! It was really good. Although not strong, the flavor was still intense and very floral. Not overpowering at all. I liked it, very much!! I ended up harvesting 25 flower heads yesterday and thought "Here's my chance, I'ma make some tea from this fresh shit, see what I've been missing!!" I think it'll be even better with more flowers, say 50 fresh flower heads. I did eat one (very strong, intense flavor, not at all unpleasant, but still slightly bitter) leaving me with 24 flowers with which to make two cups of tea. It worked out fine, but like I said more would have made a stronger, darker, more flavorful tea.

Anyway, as promised, here are some pics!! I'll be sure to snap some more once they all bloom. Oh, and my wife took these pics so thanks go to her!!

Chamomile2 1

Chamomile3

This last one showcases the planter that me and my father-in-law built back in late March. Then this chamomile was planted (from seed) around the end of the first week or beginning of the second week of April.

Your chamomile looks great! Just reading over this thread again.
I am chronically congested, among other things. Hell, right after my 10 day juice fast, I fucking got sick again! I'm sick of being sick! I'm taking notes on this thread Monday when I get back to work.
