Why do you think the CIA would turn a blind eye to saddam's attacks on the Islamist morons of the Ayatollah's in Iran?

The USA opposes backwards dictatorships, they help liberate countries from brutal oppression, I think your attitude is disgraceful because British and American troops died for Iraqi freedom!

Do you think you have freedom?

The USA opposes countries that do not accept the dollar in payment of oil or who try to start their own non-FR banking currencies.
Check your history, check the facts, see the world the way it really is.

If they cared about 'democracy' 'freedom' and all that kind of stuff then why have they not invaded Saudi Arabia yet?
Its so in your face its unbelievable.
It's because the USA has a history of supporting democracy and freedom that they wouldn't arbitrarily invade a country like Saudi Arabia.
The Gulf States trade with the US and keep a lid on much of the Salafist fundamentalism you have mentioned, they are also modernizing and the US and West can use trade and technology as leverage for them to cooperate with us on a financial basis, we have common interests with the Gulf States as the economy and trade between us is quite well developed, so why would the USA want to invade them?

If they started using the money for oil on palaces and weaponry as Saddam did, and started posing a threat to progress in the region, blowing up their own citizens as Assad was, massacring women and children with Russian weapons, then maybe the west would invade, or at least put it to a public vote.

In Bahrain they machine gunned the last lot who wanted democracy.
We stood by and did nothing.
In Saudi they don't have democracy at all, they have chop chop square in Riyadh.
As for the weapons they use ones we sold them so I guess thats OK cos we got paid some money for it.
We can't force people to have democracy.
Are you saying the West should invade Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and remove their governments to institute our own puppet regimes?

If so I totally agree, and actually this is kind of what Britain has done there. The Saudi and Bahraini monarch's are far more reasonable and cooperative, same with Turkey, Egypt, Qatar etc, we can't have loose cannon's like Saddam or his offspring having nukes.

What does the CIA and Saddam have to do with Islam?
You'll be telling us the USA created Islam and bankrolled the Prophet Mohammed next.

Reasonable?
they are sick brutal dictatorships, and as has already been said in this thread, Hussein was never a loose cannon

I can't speak for others but I doubt anyone in this thread (other than you) is advocating invading countries just because we don't like them, not propping them up and giving them weapons to use against their own people would be a good start though.

So you oppose Russia selling billions of dollars worth of weaponry to help Assad clamp down on his populace since the democratic uprisings in 2011?

Then we agree.

I support the attempts of Saudi Arabia, Kurdish, Turkish groups and Qatar to supply weaponry and logistical support to the rebels.

I also supported the attempts of France the US and UK to intervene, despite the fact France is ruled by a communist sex addict.

e2a fine, you post a link to an article that blames everything Saddam did on the USA.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe you were just ignorant of the history of western intelligence agencies propping up the most brutal regimes, but as you ignore all evidence and use obvious shill tactics you are obviously here with an agenda
You can go on spreading bullshit.

A poster that was eventually banned by this community (and you really have to go looking for it cos it's consensus) who comes back with a new account name. The old socks come back repeatedly and often in multiple accounts.
