I love Red Dwarf, too, irrie - thanks for posting!

I'm old enough to have seen it from the beginning, first time round in 1989 too! :emb:

One of the best comedies ever!
Pity the BBC can't manage much like it now.

Yeah Mandy and Andy, it's one of the best comedy series of all time. They're doing a new series as I'm sure you both already know. Using the old format, 6 episodes, studio audience (I think) so it'll hopefully be good...The show has had it's best days though, but we can at least hope :D

I haven't seen that show in forever. We used to watch it all the time - stumbled upon it by accident flipping through the channels one day.

I have them all on DVD,no matter how many times I watch I'm still laughing out loud :D

That part,in the Legion epsiode, where they're eating with those rotating telekinetic chopsticks is always the one that really sticks out for me :D

Yeah :D

I love it when he meets Rimmer, and Rimmer is utterly clueless when Ace is asking him questions about astro navigation (or something) and the only thing Rimmer can reply with is "I don't know", etc. :D It all culminates in a classic line; "Smoke me a kipper, can you do that? I'll be back for breakfast!" :chuckle:
Then rimmer sets up a booby trap above a doorway; "I'll smoke him a smegging kipper!" :chuckle:

I can't find the clip, grrr.
