Why? So these "dictionary" types can have the satisfaction of lording it over us with their smug faces? I wouldn't do it to my worst enemy, mate, let alone my bestest fwend.

Fight the power.

I know Muttley's in human form, and that expression is classic,if it's a sadistic laugh, chortle or snigger,I guess it's up to who a Muttley would be directing it at and why.

It's very interesting that they have thought up a character like that which makes that sound, almost like a villains best buddy.

I like the way Muttley looks

Well you see I voted 'snigger', but now that I've read the thread & realised it's a vital issue, I'd like someone to go to a whole lot of trouble and amend the polling software so that I can change that to 'chortle'.

Let me know when it's done.

Btw, it's these sodding cats that snigger and giggle.

I've received a report from the dubmatrons. It's content is highly alarming!

Basically having scanned patterns of vote distribution and mapped them against the post records of the voters involved, the dubmatrons have reached a conclusion that this poll has been nobbled.

According to the report there are only actually two people (if you can call them people) that have voted for snigger, everyone else has voted chortle. Now, given that the two sniggerers are in a position to edit other's posts it would seem clear that this goes beyond vote rigging. This is in 1984 rewriting the history books territory.

It's a scandal I tell ee!!!!!!

Good work the dubmatrons may your feeding frenzy fill your bellies to satisfaction. Do not rest though brave ones for nanny Mcgree is on the prowl :secret:

What is it with Americans and the word "snicker"? They take OUR word "snigger" - and it's not acceptable anymore because it contains an "American insult" nowadays. So it becomes "snicker".

Then they take our lovely Marathon.... and that has to have it's name changed too, for some weird reason - to "snicker".

And Muttley has become The Face of it all. :fraid:

Marathon...it's just plain better. A bar so packed full of peanuts and...other stuff, that you could run a Marathon on it...eating it is more of a Marathon than a sprint, etc etc.

Snickers...Snickers!! That makes zero sense!

Those bastards!! It's only just really hit me after all these years! :O Change it back!

This is now officially "Muttley-gate".

Thanks indeed to the hard work and perseverance of the ever-alert dubmatrons.

Abs, I'll pass your gratitude on to the legions of tiny virtual organisms that constitute the dubmatrons next time they break cover. At present I understand that 84.647% of them are on a deep underground filth finding mission at Nanny Mcgree's. I have received some preliminary intel and already I think they've discovered enough to blow the lid on the vile old trout once and for all. Obviously though, they will not cease until they've gathered enough evidence to get her banged up for the last 3.749 months of her "life"......

14.353% are circling around the one known as cantata although I have no idea what they suspect there :conf:

The other 11% are split on a mission to trace the movements of the one known as Sket and the one known as Oioioi. :dunno:

They don't hang about do they? Finish one mission and straight back into the fray on multiple fronts

The dubmatrons are football fans. I thought everyone knew that. I think you will find that their maths (yes it has a bloody S) is spot on....
