Outburst effectively relieved the frustration, without needing to inflict it on anybody else. Also soothed by the sweetness of Feather.

I recently received a random act of kindness.
I'd indicated that I was 'sad' in a post.
Shortly afterwards a pm popped up enquiring whether I was actually sad or if I meant 'a sad bastard'.

It was touching that someone was concerned enough and took the time to check on a strangers well-being.
Thank you that person.
You made my day.

I had quite a few acts of kindness thrown my way recently:

Running vainly to catch a train while I was laden with a heavy rucksack full of orgonite, a woman pulled up in a car and gave me a lift for the final hundred yards. I thought the train was about to pull away, but another kind lady waved to the driver and somehow I made it.

When I had completed an orgonite gifting run, with sore feet and aching legs, I knew that I wouldn't make it to the train station on time and I thought I'd get a drink while I was waiting. The man outside the beer garden told me they were closed till five, so I asked if there was anywhere else he could recommend. He asked if I just wanted a drink and I said yes. He asked what I wanted, poured it out and I gulped it down. When I got my wallet out he said I didn't need to pay and he asked if I wanted a lift to the station. I said yes and he then got me a bottle of mineral water from the fridge and drove me to the station. It was a very hot day, and I had been down to the last few lukewarm dregs. Now my thirst was quenched, I had spared my aching feet and I had a wonderfully cool bottle of water in reserve.

As I waited for the train I got the sweetest smile from a young woman waiting for the train. So I watched the butterflies dancing amongst the wild flowers, watched the blue sky that had been a murky off white just hours before and felt very good indeed.

Our car wouldn't start at the park earlier... some guy came over and tried to fix it, said it was probably our starter but he didn't have the stuff to fix it with, let us use his phone. Funnily enough, first thing I noticed about him was the masonic ring on his finger lmao. Anyway, was thankful for him that he tried to help and let us use his phone.
I ended up pulling the fuses out from under the dashboard and popping a new on into the ignition fuse spot...car started after that.

I have two for you all

England one bank holiday years ago. I was waiting for a bus(i didn`t realize that the buses were not running or running a Sunday service). An old couple gave me a ride into town. I offered them my bus fare but they refused it.

Then say a few months back I was in a store spending money on food and other stuff. Somehow my card was swiped too ,many times or something and the bank put a hold on the card so my card was declined. A guy in line saw we had kids I guess and thought our card was declined because we were poor and offered to buy the food for us. I told him it was just a bank problem that needed sorting out but thanked him all the same.

I think kindness is more common than we think. In my first example I was young and in the second example I had kids with me so perhaps it is about how we come across as in need of help. Perhaps some people decide against kindness to certain people. Interesting topic. I like to try and live by the motto in the movie Pay it Forward.

I haven't heard that Gilly... so if you have mentioned it, it didn't reach my corner of the forum.

Overall, I think the lower Mason's are just fine and dandy...a little strange, but aren't we all... it's the higher ups you wanna avoid. It was just of all things I could have noticed about this guy, it was the ring that I noticed (it wasn't until he unstrapped his phone from his arm that I realized it was a phone lol).

Re the ceremonies, I've pointed out to him that for all he knows, he might be pledging alliegence to anything. I've shown him similarities with certain sephira of the Cabala, as well as witch craft (though the latter's due to Gerald Gardner's influence). His attitude to that is that it's nothing more or less than focusing on how and why everyone should be treating each other with respect and decency, as though we were all brothers and sisters, right across humanity.

Nobody there does each other the kind of favours I've heard rumours of, such as making speeding fines disappear.Doesn't seem especially wicked to me.

I think it was Boots too, who wrote something about a bloke in a shop being very nasty with a staff-member for no good reason. Where I'd have probably been tutting & sighing at him, Boots said he deliberately opened his heart chakra and directed loving energy at him. This chap then changed his manner and became pleasant and apologetic towards the woman. I've actually tried that myself since then, and it seemed to work. Don't get me wrong - I'm often too preoccupied & grumpy to be bothered doing things like that, but I will myself to behave nicely sometimes.

Over the last few weeks I've had a few joints shared with me and was given enough to actually roll a few joints for myself as well last week.

I've also been given quite a bit of free fruit down at the organic markets that I go to on Sundays. That's a huge bonus, especially considering the price of organic fruit.

Today though, I had a cup of tea given to me. I've seen this guy in a shop where I buy some Afghani bread each week most times that I go there. I've said hello each time I've seen him and he's responded positively (the owner is usually sitting down having some tea with him). Today, the owner was busy with a couple of customers, so after I had said hello to him and grabbed my bread, I decided that while I wait to pay for it, I'd sit down and have a chat with him. He offered me some tea, grabbed a cup and poured it for me. We then had a really great discussion about various different things, state of the world, society, etc.

He made mention of his son recently dying (around 6 months ago - his son was only 17). Here's an article about his sons death ...

... so, anyway, he mentioned it because of the way he has looked at life since it happened. How he appreciates each moment more, even with 'strangers'. I decided to recite a poem I had written years ago for him and was touched to see that it brought tears to his eyes.

So, a kind deed from someone that I really do not know, which culminated in a beautiful experience where we connected for around 30 minutes or so having a wonderful chat. Gotta love it.
