Do you have dreams of looking down from above somewhere,or floods?

Not generally, Rick, that I can recall at least. Why do you ask?

I did have a 'flying' dream once, that was so vivid I woke myself up as I was scared of falling.

Just wondered if you were having dreams of water, or if you are really close to a creek that has flooded

Very recent new dreams within a week or so,and they just seem noticeably different to you?

Nothing has changed for me.

Do you have an example?

I often have weird dreams but this past year I've hardly been able to remember them(this is very different for me). This morning was the first I've remembered in months.

The dreams are so noticeably different you would immediately what I mean, was your remembered dream vivid?

That would apply more so to the last dream I remembered. But, last night, there were a lot of animals in my dream. I remember an owl and being very excited because I love owls. Then it was in this tree that was very uniform in shape and there was a bird or animal perched on each branch. One moment they looked real and the next they looked storybook-ish or like plush animals. Then they flew away or something. After that, someone brought me a tiny little fox that had an injury to the side of it's head and I was trying to nurse it back to health.

The one I had that was really odd, I only remember a snippet. I was lying in my bed and felt very drowsy- more like drugged- and I was struggling to keep my eyes open. There was a man standing across from my bed against the fireplace wearing a mask. It was like the "grey alien" but the mask covered his whole head(didn't look plastic or metal but it was super creepy). So there was this feeling of intense fear as I was passing out but desperately trying to wake up and move. My mind wondering what he is doing there and I need to move! Get up! His image did something weird I can't describe; can't think of the proper words. Anyway, that was it.

I was disturbed the whole next day and ended up sleeping with the lights on the next night.

What about you? What have you been dreaming?

You have someone in your inner circle of people that has intense love for you, like a father or mothers love, almost to the point of obsession, this is a good thing for you. imo

Nailed it! That would be my Mom...she's the most important person to me, as well.

Had a few of those in my life, and every time its been when the dream has turned into a 'lucid' dream...ie I realised I was dreaming and 'took control' of it so to speak.

Marvellous, wish I could do it on demand

Interesting...you may not be so off, though. I've recently got some work in a building that sits right alongside a river.

Dunno very much about my dad's living situation before he died, so couldn't tell you about that.

Good skills though! Never be hesitant to share with us lot, Rick.

Yeah, I only recall it happening once and it was very, very vivid. I had just drifted off and suddenly, there I was, floating above my house. I then went off on a diagonal up and over neighbours' houses, getting higher and higher. I've only really remembered it because there was so much detail in what I was looking at.

I could see into people's back gardens, where I'd never seen before, and stuff like that. At a certain height though it's like I realised I wasn't supposed to be seeing this stuff and struggled, then WHAM! I was awake in bed.

Apparently, you can teach yourself to do it on demand. :)

I don't usually dream at all. My sleep is a lovely, warm black pit that I fall into at night and try to stay in for as long as possible. :)

But, in the past year, I've been dreaming about swimming in liquid gold and getting told to put my head under - which, in the dream I won't, although I have no problem with going underwater in real life. :conf: And one dream where I "flew", but using swimming strokes, and I flew/swam to the top of an Oak tree where all these mothers and their toddlers were going around in seats, like on a carousel; and they were jealous, so I tried to make myself look "normal" when I became very aware that not everyone can swim-fly.

And some dreams about being murdered! :O The last one, a few nights ago - two black panthers came in and tried to kill my cat, and my daughter and her friend attacked me; and her friend stabbed me in the spine and after a while of staggering round, I fell to the floor and said, "My life is going from me now", while my daughter stared in horror at something behind me! :O

Good or bad, it's very unusual for me to dream at all (just as well, eh? :D ).

Oh, although I say I don't dream, I have had a recurring dream throughout my life. I call it The Evil Room.
