Well...it's kinda true.

Bit lazy as well, RA. You could at least try and put it in your own words, spice it up a bit. I don't patronise sites like that. :coffee:

Even on that site there is a lot of cut and paste from websites and YouTube videos. How about we discuss the topic of conspiracy depression on our own?

Si?

Don't post links to false consciousness generators

False consciousness is a form of sophisticated social control that depends on getting people to believe myths that obscure their own exploitation, so that they fail to identify with others who are similarly exploited, recognize the exploiters, or form coherent, logical praxis to counter that exploitation.
The meanings that are the most directly practical are the ones that are sacrificed: the flavor, aroma and touch are abolished to the profit of the delusions that permanently lead sight and hearing astray.

No, false consciousness and conspiracy fearists, sorry for going off topic.

You can't do this there link to a topic here which speaks highly in itself for this forum, personally I don't think anything will happen in December , in my mind the harmonic convergence is not a world ending event when it takes place.
So as to the end of the Mayan calender, a harmonic convergence, or a fleet of galactic beings from space returning even that doesn't signify the end of mankind in my opinion.''

But it is what we make of it, especially if there is a return.

Notice that not conspiracy theories that cause depression, but the conspirators themselves. i.e the death destruction and suffering the conspirators cause. Shedding light on what we already suspect to be true, no. It's nice to know that we are not alone.

But this is cuntyfuckers trying to stick a New Age equivalent to a government health warning on looking into things. Soon to be published is a gurus warning about how keeping your eyes open and a hand on your housekeys and wallet causes cancer.

I really think we ought to claim back the conspiracy genre from the space age nutters like Icke, alot of the Hilder, Sitchen, other left field new age shit came out of the sixties, I have spoken before about the LSD Hippy counter revolution, but we neglect some of the huge events that occurred in the sixties politically that were actual conspiracies, JFK, MLK, the Vietname War, Operation Menu, these are not theories, these were high level power plays by political factions.

Check out the Hoover institute for War and Peace, an anti communist organization operating through major colleges and receiving huge private subsidies.

It's my view most of the material in the Conspiracy genre as it is, stems from co-intel groups.

It's not depression that concerns me, it's the level of cognitive dissonance and denial surrounding what's going on in the world right now.
It seems that the more obvious it becomes that there has been this new world order agenda, the more into denial many people go, slap the label conspiracy theory over anything concerning this agenda and pretend it's just a load of paranoid crap.

frankly if you aren't depressed you must be in a state of denial

The conspiracy world gives my depressed self something to focus on that is guaranteed to piss me off in under 5 minutes thus removing me from the "depressed" mood and placing me in a "kill them all" mood :hmm: and when it does not transfer me from the depressed to the kill them all, it makes ma paranoid which I am not sure is any better than the depressed mood, but at least I get out of bed so I can crawl under it :iitm:
So yes, yes it is an outlet... it also allows me to have an outlet and let it all out while I make stupid comments, scream, yell, and bitch at people online :woot:
I came into this world kicking and screaming while covered in someone elses blood
and I have no problem with going out the same way

are you joking?
You find that depressing?

We can all choose to live in a world of bunny rabbits and rainbows or we can face reality
the thing that drew me into these areas of interest in the first place was the idea of facing reality as it really is, not going through life with blinkers on.

The percentage of the population prepared to knowingly pretend these things aren't happening is what is truly depressing.
