I think that Andyh was right to ask for proof and so was dubs.

However, to be fair to Gilly, myself and others,I think the reasons (speaking personally at least) for the delay were these:

1) SS followed people from thread to thread contunuing on a "meta thread" of fairly offensive remarks, threats, lies and false accusations. - lot of stress, effort and time involved to collect, copy and paste

2) There was quite a hot debate that someone should even be the subject of a vote/inquiry- on principle.

3) There was a lot of counter accusations of ganging up by people not initially involved and a lot of calls to "drop it" and "grow up" etc

4) The above 2 & 3 made the trouble of 1 seem fairly pointless

5) before anything was resolved the bomb hit
