I'm reticent to say anything that might put you off, but remember I told you Zyban started its life as an anti-depressant? I'm very distrustful of those. Having said that, it was the only thing that worked for me (for 7 months anyways).

The spaced out thing does wear off relatively quickly I think.

*Edit* I think I took the tablets for about 6 weeks, then didn't need them. But they're supposed to stop the craving, which I can't help wondering if the use of gum / patches might be interfering with.

I think that the smoking of cannabis is a part of the problem. A drug that inhibits the train of rational thought by replacing it with the enduring feeling of being one step ahead of everyone else.

Im 33 now and by age 30 I was already feeling old so I can't imagine 40.

I do feel very happy at the moment as it goes. I am also experiencing an increased libido! I Googled it, and it's a fairly common side effect for women and they prescribe it alongside SSRI's to counteract the sexual dysfunction.
