So for those who don't know I am working in Iowa right now. Today is my one day off and tomorrow is my double time day. Yes I am here for the money.

We are blasting and painting a torus. Which is a big doughnut shaped water tank. It is a simple job apart from the whole nuclear aspect. We wear so much protective clothing that you get soaked in sweat before you even start work.

The job had a set back the other day but we should be done soonish. Of course my lay off could always happen sooner. Iowa is cold and fairly gloomy this time of year but the trees and streets look like the movie Halloween. The fields remind me of children of the corn.

I am pleased to have been able to travel but really look forward to getting home.

I always remember the hug my son gave me on my return from working out of town last time.

Anyway I will be back soon.
