Did you know that it's Movember?

What is Movember?
OVERVIEW OF MOVEMBER
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

So, do you check the boys and have prostate examinations like the doctors advise? I ask this because women get a regular check up of an intimate nature. The thing is, women are usually pragmatic about it and just get it out of the way, but men seem more reluctant with this sort of thing.

Since when do moustaches and prostate exams go hand in hand, and is that in fact the CREEPIEST damn connection ever made?

Personally I already have a moustache (out of pure laziness and refusal to shave, but fuck it let's just say i did it for charity).

As far as prostate exams go.....don't think i'm old enough to need one yet,but when I do I doubt it'll be something I look forward to.

I never thought of the prostate and moustache connection before, but you're right.

Hmmm good point Stars, though after taking Lesley's input into consideration I've decided to make the anal stimulation optional in my relaxivity program.

You're right though....this way you kill two birds with one stone.

Hahaha thank you Gilly dear.

After those three images I will officially NEVER get a prostate exam.

Period.

Plus, its not sexual.

Having some (probably male) doctor stick a cold rubber-gloved finger up my marmite motorway in clinical surroundings isn't my idea of passionate fun quite frankly.

You could pretend he's female, and pretend it's sexual, isn't imagination the key to good sex :D

All women over a certain age have their bits and bobs checked on a regular basis, well, every 3 years.

Why are men so against it when it's just a medical thing and the doctors have seen it all before?

Isn't it best to catch a potential problem early enough to fix it?

Plus, there's no insertion of cold metal implements, like in the female examination, so stop acting like a gang of pansies, and get growing your moustaches, I say!

@ Stars, it's nowhere near as bad as gving birth. :D It's good to get yourself checked out, I had a checkup and they found pre-cancerous cells and were able to remove it before it became more serious, then I had more freequent checkups untill they gave me the all clear.

@ Gilly, Indeed, a few minutes of indignity for a quick checkup is much better then the potential indignity of having something more serious further down the line.
