Can't these doom predictions be made a bit more exciting to stimulate us a bit more?
All the stuff is so boring & ....predictable.
How about some savage doom like the moon is going to crash into the earth & send it spiralling towards the sun...

or
the whole human race will be visited by Freddy Kruger style nightmares which will lead to everybody butchering each other in a bout of violent somnambulism.
or
there will be no more cider & fags after aliens confiscate all vices for their own fiendish needs

The Earth has been around to long for me to be stimulated by cold weather and Asteroid doom...
