Aye, could hear you moving around. A compressor will help level that out a bit and also smooth the natural variance in your voice.. Yes that headset mike won't be helping Make sure the mic signal is as strong as it can be at all stages (without distorting ofc), it just sounded a tad low to me. There may be a mic gain boost on your computer's soundcard which would help.

Maybe roll off the bass from the mic input. That would help and allow the gain to be boosted a bit more. This is a job for THE SPACE BANDIT

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I can't profess to say that I fully understood the technical stuff, but we'll see how the show goes this week, and if there are sound issues then I will look into it further.
