Last year I tried to make a turkey/chicken (it was poultry of some sort)

And I ended up throwing it in the sink full of washing up liquid because, I swear. without a word of lie , when I took it out the oven it smelled disgusting and said 'Don't eat me'.....the chicken/turky thing spoke and said 'don't eat me'

It was my very first attempt at cooking poultry so you could say I was slightly surprised

seriously though that chicken/turkey thing was possessed......my quests were slightly confused when I threw it in the sink.....but we had lots of other food so noone went hungry

Sketts, I usually do do some of the shopping on-line, but Since H won't get his 1st invoice paid to his new company till late Dec / early Jan, & his wage / payment in lieu etc etc till Jan, I'm scared to go on-line and bankrupt us. :chuckle:

I've said it before, and I'll say it again..3rd January, beautiful :D Chrimbo and the new year finished with :chuckle: I love the 3rd of January :) That's my special day of celebration when I know it's all over completely for another year.

Yes, I believe it is. Never mind - you'll know next time.

Giblets make good gravy though (if you remove the plastic bag), if you take them out before you chuck the bird in the oven, and your cat will love you forever if you give her the bits of offal (i.e. no bony bits, like the neck) afterwards. :)

I spent an hour massaging butter and shit into the bird before I put it in the oven ....

I was trying to impress sons girlfriend and her family....the chicken/turkey let me down ...I will never attempt too cook one again

I'm cooking honey roasted pork this year, I like it and know how to cook it

Chickens and Turkeys can just fuck off
