Yes nosey, the eating part was a bit vague, but my claws made light work of the poor cow :D
Before that, at the house of the person I was supposed to scoff, I broke the door down, it didn't just break, it exploded and splintered like it was nothing...The physical power I posessed was incredible...one of the coolest dreams I've ever had :)

How do I find my totem animal? Where is the link?

A superhero dream :chuckle:

Can't say I've had one of those :(

You ask how you find your totem animal. That is not something I can tell you, grasshopper.
There is no link. :sokay:

:P You can look at Stars link and see what animal is linked to your zodiac sign, or peruse guev's link and see what fits,

Or observe nature and listen to your dreams :approved:

Can a Werewolf be a Superhero? :D Why not? might be a good idea for a film...like Teen Wolf, but better :chuckle:

Well the one from Stars link had me down as a Beaver :emb:

I have a good relationship with cats, maybe my spirit animal or whatever is feline :cat:

Also, when I was in my teens, I used to get scared when I was falling asleep and I'd get an image of a baboon with its fangs bared in anger, quite regularly. I felt that it was a depiction of me, and it frightened me, like a representation of the rage I was feeling. So I might have 2 of the creatures I like the least in my totem perhaps.

Crocs & baboons.

I want to be fluffy cats & dogs & koalas & dragon flies (every time I meditate, when I'm moving about. like climbing a mountain admiring the waterfalls & flowers, I'm a dragon fly - not intentional).

I've had people who've been talking to me when I'm meditating, suddenly transform into parrots & fly away before telling me what I wanted to hear, quite a few times.

Not gibbon - baboon (Iwrote gibbon by mistake, because it makes me think of the Goodies, singing FunkyGibbon)...

This picture is pretty much exactly what used to flash up in my brain, uninvited, and I knew it was me - what I was feeling like...

Baboon

Jeff Goldblum dominated a Babbon. During the making of The Fly...it kind of looked to him as his dad or something :D
Sort of a cool thing, Baboons are dangerous, powerful fuckers.

I never invited the image, it took me by surprised every time, and was disturbed by its rage - nothing sexual - I was very in touch with my sexuality & always have been. It was uncontrolled anger, and I knew it was me, inside, and was ashamed of it, and fearful. :emb:

A lot of people have uncontrolled anger in them Gilly, just means you're a normal well-adjusted person. People who never get angry are the scariest ones when they finally blow, the shtf big time. :shtf: Do you bottle it up? Maybe the baboon was telling you that you should be getting angry about something.

Jeff Goldblum was born to play The Fly. :notworthy:
How mad is that?

Quite. :conf:

A dragonfly sounds fun and nice, lucky you! I would love to fly about the waterfalls.

My friend told me a strange story about dragonflies:

She had been on a few dates with a fellow who was into mysticism. He invited her to a Medicine Wheel, a Native American ceremony where a group sits around a circle of stones. She went, playing along, because she thought the guy was real cute but she did not believe in Medicine Wheels.

The Conductor told everyone to close their eyes, be quiet, and watch what they see. So she did, not expecting anything to happen. Then, she said that she got a vision of a princess sitting on a flying dragon and it was going towards a dark looking castle.

She didn't know what to make of it. The conductor went around the circle and asked everyone what they saw. Most everyone saw dragonflies. :O And she saw a dragon flying :umm: She was rattled and didn't even tell anyone what she saw because she did not want to be different and hers was dark and not happy.

At the same time, she was wanting to move to Hawaii, but did not know if she should. A week or so after the Medicine Wheel, she walked into a gift shop and was looking around when the shop owner walked up to her and said completely out of the blue (this is how she told me the story) very sternly, almost mad "you need to get out of Los Angeles". She got so scared she walked out of the store!

The woman was wearing a dress that had a dragonfly print!

:band:

Weird, huh?

About a half a year later she was living in Hawaii and is still there.

That's why it was traumatic - it wasn't like throwing a tantrum (which I did too, quite deliberately). It was like a shock revalation of my psyche, which I did not like.

It happened quite a few time too, so that I couldn't just write it off. It was like something was telling me to get a grip, if I didn't want to succumb to this deep seated anger. Which I didn't. I want to be the one that hugs people to make them feel loved, not rip great big chunks out of people. That's what my soul feels is right.

You're a Piscese aren't you Gilly? If I remember correctly, our b-days aren't that far apart. People of the sign can often be too accomodating and it's easy for others to take the piss. Maybe Mr Baboon was trying to tell you to assert youself? Enough new age conjecture though. :)

How are you all getting your totems? I had a sleepathon today and had a messed up dream about rabbits and frogs.

Thanks Lesley.

Yes, I bottle things up. If I love somebody, they can get away with acres of shit, and I bottle it, 'cause who wants to let rip at someone they love. Then, when they do something relatively trivial, it's the last straw, and I go ape shit. It's entirely the wrong way to go about things, and I'm trying to address it.

My sister's exactly the same, so can you imagine when the dam wall breaks, we eventually challenge each other about things that happened a lifetime ago.

I don't want to wish the same shortcomings on other people, but can't help wondering, since you had the sensitivity to point it out, if you suffer from the same affliction?

Fuck me about to the n'th degree, and be amazed about how supportive and wonderful I am. Push it 1mm too far, and I'll rip you to shreds, then feel like shit for doing t.
