Ahh that would explain your interest in the lingo of the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha's. :D

I love Scottish, Irish & Welsh accents - but only the ones where you can tell what they're saying.

The rottenest, most cringe-worthy accent I've heard is Chorley (the town I was born in) but luckily, I never picked it up.

Yes, this is the same Chorley where a police officer recently tazered and elderly blind man because he thought his white stick was a Samurai sword, and where a lad was imprisoned a month or 2 back for posting distasteful jokes on the internet about 2 little girls who'd been abducted.

I'm please to hear that you don't sound that chap. It would have spoilt how I hear you in my mind.
I give everyone an accent when I read their posts. :emb:

I had a trawl to find a vid with a Slough accent but was unsuccessful. :( Probably just as well because it's nothing more than faux cockney.

However, according to big bro, young master Depp sounds like me in this film. Oh, how he laughed when he kept referring to me as Ichi.

Whilst I am happy to have my name used in the same sentence as Johnny Depp I'd rather it was for his looks than one of his accents.
Damn good actor, though. :)

Ooh, refined accent, Ichie! :D

Good film. I like Tim Burton's macabre touch.

Since this is a random thoughts thread, the Poker Face gif in #23 was an error, as it was the previous thing I'd copy & pasted onto an email, and has no relevance to that post. For some reason, the image I'd copied to go on that post didn't pick up properly, but sometimes, my lap top will not do as it's told, and it was freezing up & things, so I just thought I'd leave it there, rather than bugger about with it.

I've never seen any of those films, Jhado. Not one.

I think for the most part you can expect at very least something interesting from Depp. He has made so many good movies. Just watched Dark Shadows the other night which was great fun.

I've not seen it. The trailer does look good but it might be too scary for me. :)

I liked him in Secret Window, & there was one I saw years ago & can't remember the name of. His little girl gets kidnapped & he's supposed to assassinate someone to save her life.
