It really saddens me that there are actually people like this out there (those who have responded), some of whom even claim to be housing professionals. If this is the level of 'service' one can expect from councils and h/as, what hope is there for anyone?

I know the majority of people get treated like shit from experience, and that it's really nobody elses problem that you are stupid enough to be in need of (or even expect any) assistance from your government, but I really struggle to believe that such people actually take the time to spill this bile all over the internet. Don't they get enough opportunity to do it at work? It strikes me that some people are just incredibly bitter and resentful of anyone/thing they see getting something they think that they can't, in the whole.

I also know the whole system is rigged anyway, but it just saddens me that we as humans feel the need to this to eachother sometimes. It also always alarms me when I come across folks who seem to be of the 'our governments would never do anything to hurt us so stop asking questions and do as your told' variety. Where do they come from? HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?

Both rhetorical questions really...just saddens me a bit.
