Breast-feeding's harder than it could be. My son couldn't get the nack of latching on properly, and my daughter was a vampire, who, if you weren't careful, would latch on to any part of the breast she could reach, and when she managed to grab a bit that wasn't nipple, she'd draw blood and was damn near impossible to prise off.

Sounds like a dangerous pursuit. I'd dip one in strawberry jam & one in piccalilli. Then if you were getting too enthusiastic with the jam, I could ward you off by thrusting the other at you.

It's not always simple is it? There's a lot of pressure on women to breast feed and people end up feeling really bad if they can't manage it, and have to use formula instead.

Some babies just latch on for comfort and won't let go My son was one of those, he wasn't hungry, but he just liked the closeness. If you managed to prise him off he'd scream until you put him back on. It got very annoying when I wanted a bath, to go to the loo or just to not have a small person attached to my tit for a few minutes. :O
