1 of those pics there of the mountains is from the train as it passed by the lake at the east end of the belluno town valley on its way to venice in case anyones confused.

We did indeed have a hell of a time, if you're on a mission and you don't have kids in tow then you can get a hell of a lot done.
The kids wouldn't have appreciated most of it, perhaps my eldest lad but when they're older they will and I'll be able to give them tips about how to go about it.

Kudos go to Mikey btw for telling me about how to get around and teaching me a little italian but mostly teaching me about italian life and culture and that was brilliant

I'm sure he'll get around to posting soon, he really enjoyed the chinwag and he's prolly recovering from the booze
