I'm not completely sure what emotion contempt is, so it's up for discussion, and this phrase has been around way longer than me.

Would contempt be disgust, rage, disappointment, falseness ?

In my mind I have got to know many people through my life and at times in my thoughts said, *why did I even get involved with these people*

but it really wasn't contempt I felt for them, it was more or less realizing my stupidity and then getting mad at myself

I would think people who have been really hurt by someone would understand this expression..................

and be able to explain the concept of what this sentence means and what emotion is contempt

Contempt is when a girl you like messed with someone you know.

Then years later she want's to mess with you but your pride won't let you even if you still like her.

I don't know the op but I quite like them.

I know ra more and like him far less.

So the answer to the thread title for me would appear to be yes.

Which implies it refers to a particularly alluring vulva
