Nothing dramatic just a non serious thread of simple missed chances for something which I have had many.

I will start with this one, this one has me reflecting back on many times every time I go to a flea market.................

I went too a small flea market while riding with a friend going to take his sister a waterbed, in this flea market was a box of Thor comics, original, the guy wanted forty five dollars, I had about sixty on me and past them up.

And to this day I'm not sure how bad I screwed up.

note.............I know doom is out there, but I thought this topic may get our minds off of it for a bit

I used to love imported American comics as a teen. I bought a few Amazing Spider-Man, some Spectacular Spider-Man, my collection wasn't great though, and I'd end up missing issues, through buying other stuff.
I had a near complete collection of Micronauts comics, I was missing about 5 issues... I ended up throwing them all out though, I just grew out of comics I suppose, although I wasn't massively into them in the first place.

Micronauts 1

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micronauts_(comics)

I used to go to comic fairs, and they'd have loads of old ones, some bastards used to write the price in huge letters on the covers though, just to ruin them!
10P would be written on the cover in massive letters covering the whole comic :facepalm:

I got into action figures after that. Star Trek TNG, Batman Animated Series, Spider-Man... I grew out of that as well :chuckle:

The Thor comics might have been worth a few quid, or maybe not... with comics there's the condition to think about, are they mint or near mint... I used to buy plastic comic bags for mine, and insert a piece of cardboard to stop them from bending.

I used to have this 15" Batman figure;

084b8254 9a28 4c22 9df1 213b6ddf3f20

I think it was about £25 - £30, I've seen it on ebay for around £100... I think I may have thrown that out too :umm: :emb:

We had a stall, on the local market, where we went every week to trade in and get new stuff. My favourites were Green Lantern and Iron-man, and Dr Strange?

If that's even real (and I genuinely have no idea :D ) then I bet it's worth a bob or two now.
