No, dawn. That was a new recipe that did not include mince.

I don't know if you do but I certainly make mince that way.
No clue about measures and quantities, I chuck in what looks about right.
Usually I get there and have rarely died so far.

Mikey's recipes do sound delish but ain't nobody got time for that. :D

you should just buy food you like, blend them up and put it in the kettle.

I tried heating tomatoe soup up in the kettle once when the gas wasn't working (gas cooker)

It broke the kettle :umm:

and the soup tasted all metally

I'd recommend having one of these on hand, with a few spare gas cannisters just for emergencies. Cheap & portable.

Nah...they're useless and expensive and take aaaaages to boil water....the calor gas ones are far better and cheaper and cook at a higher heat.

Expensive? You can get one for about £7, and a pack of 4 canisters for £6.00 that last a good while. I have both, coz I like camping. Takes about 5 minutes to boil enough water in a kettle on that little one for brews for 4 - 6. The Calor ones are better, but they're bigger & more expensive, plus the cannisters are dear - hence, unless you camp or anticipate having regular problems with your gas supply or appliances, I reckon the little one's a good stand-by. :P :D

good tip!

Especially with Winter coming in, the Leccy Corporations threatening mischief and a Tory government switching from Fox Hunting to Poor Persecuting for sadistic kicks.

We are not allowed calor gas in my flat .

I think because it's a council flat they think we will be terrorists, or just explode the building
