In me truth about the BBC thread, I have tried a little experiment by B+Iing as many key words as I can be arsed to do.
It's a 2 page thread with 37 replies to date........and has 5.5k views :O
Bot's or not, clearly the SEO tactic works.

So folks......may I humbly suggest we adopt it as a tactic on key issues?

You mean it's more likely to come up in a search engine?

Exactly.
It's a technique i first heard of from our resident tech star, novum.
Search engine optimization.
Though there's obv more to it than b+i, the b+i clearly works.

Btw, do you have another account with a different name dub, or am I confuddled?

More a case of knob was formerly known as dub innit :)

in the bbc thread i went with the idea of doing it to as many possible search terms as i could see. Hoping that i was maximising the possibility of the thread appearing as a result for as many searches as possible. Which seems to have worked.

:study:

side note re: learning new things - just discovering and enjoying the great variety of emoticons on this forum - I don't know if this site has more than others or if DIF's was uncommonly deficient.

:icke:

And I love how this emoticon is called "icke"

A big thanks for all who share their wonderful senses of humor - much appreciated!!!

I wonder why Obama didn't include this in his State of the Union speech?

:coffee:

Feel free to wonder about Justin Bieber and his views on the matter.
