I'm struggling with the idea of a list of; take your money out of the big banks, network with your community to help provide for each other from the wondrous bounty of your skills and nature's grace, step back from petty self interest and take responsibility for your actions, type stuff tbh.
That kind of thing is already out there, in abundance.
Ultimately imo, there are a lot of misconceptions that even the wisest of us suffer from. I'll call it the "truth vibrations" effect. It could equally be expressed as, waiting for a messiah or, blame culture.
We are inclined to think that the problems are "out there". That some badman is stopping us from being content, wants to keep us in servitude etc etc. That answers to those problems are "out there". Maybe in the form of a messiah or a cosmic love wave.
This is to my mind, fallacious thinking. The "badman" is doing what he will because we collectively support him in so doing. The planet is going to hell in a hand basket because we collectively support the energy giants, the throwaway corporate culture and the industrialisation of nature. It's us that causes that.
The solutions are all within us. They will never come until we realise that. Individually and collectively. I do credit Igan's words with a fair bit of respect and he harps on about how none of us have ever had a clean slate. We all interact with each other based on the consequences of our position of birth within the societal structure as much as anything else. We need to look inside and find a way of giving the external world, it's clean slate. We need to give ourselves a clean slate.
And then we need to proceed from a place of centered personal responsibility. A place of consciously doing our best to not fuck up. To help others to not fuck up. And yes that probably means taking your money out of the banks.........
