What would you do if you were set up by a criminal gang and you were having your character assassinated over the internet.

I can only think of one way out of the situation which is suicide.

The problem with that choice is it's so unnatural for me to want this to happen and all the methods sound very painful and long and drawn out with possible scenarios where i end up still alive but with bad health issues.

Moving away would be a solution but with very little money and no assets this would be a struggle.

Plus many of my relatives just think i am making the situation up and suffering from depression or other mental related illnesses which is draining me.

The character assassination online thing, i would ignore personally. Delete accounts where needed. Anyone i cared what they thought, wouldn't be falling for lies about me anyway.
As for the being set up, my action would depend entirely on the nature of that set up. I'm not going to ask you for more detail online so it's hard to give opinion. Feel free to pm me or anyone else though

how big of a gang? Ruin their lives in inventive ways but don't kill yourself. The only reason people fuck with someone is because they believe they will get away with it.

I can only tell you a little story about myself as recently as a few months ago. It won't solve all your issues, but may help you feel a little less isolated. I was precisely where you are thought-wise but for various reasons, different than your own.

I had researched and come up with what I thought was a fool proof plan. For one reason or another, I wanted out and it seemed that was my only option. All I can say is that I managed to delay my action - just for a day. I woke up the next morning and things looked a little less bleak.

I'm still here but I have stored all my plans away. I won't tell you you're wrong or preach at you about squandering 'gifts' or any such nonsense. Your life is yours to do with as you wish. All I will say is that I love you, even though we've never met.

You're very special and you're here for a reason, though it may not yet be clear to you. Whatever is going on, you will get through it. You may even look back on it all one day with a sigh of relief that you didn't cash in your chips after all. I haven't yet, quite, but I'm reminded daily of all the wonderful things life has to offer.

Maybe tomorrow/next week. If I'm honest, I'm just intrigued as to what lies around the corner - not just for me but for all of us. You know I'm not one for gossip...but I am an exceedingly nosy bastard.

I have one of those thought out plans as well. I'm not entirely sure how it didn't get enacted last year either tbh...but i do know that it involved staying in the moment. More often than not i felt like shit in the moment but by accepting that as my current state rather than trying to gloss over it (which I'd got rather good at) and through deep breathing techniques, it was possible to feel a bit less shit. And step by step, moment by moment, things improved.
Anxiety is a cruel beast and living under constant stress is no fun at all. The above helped me to find some sort of calm spot and that helped me to let the path 'out' unfold.

As did talking. Talking can be massively helpful and I'd recommend it.
Then, the journalling that Cantata put me onto. I'd massively recommend that too. It really is a great help and I reckon anyone would benefit from it, whatever they are living.

I'm sorry shady types have brought you low this way. Of course, I don't know the details of what's going on, but is this "online character" important to you? Does it impact into your Real Life? Or affect your Real Life negatively in financial or other important ways? If not, it surely isn't worth feeling too badly over. If it does impact you in your Real Life, is there any way you can put down an anonymous "trail" leading to these gangsters that might get the authorities on their backs without them knowing you had anything to do with it? I know that's not a method anyone would pick quickly or lightly; but, frankly, if they had me feeling that bad about my life, I'd try to get them in as much trouble as I could from the sidelines.

And yes, as dubs advises: talk to people and journal it all out. Get it out of your head onto paper, where you can see the problem and work at it from there. I do hope this eases for you soon, humanspirit.

It's sad to see that given the ratio of posters to answers on this thread, there seems to have been far too much 'planning' in the not so distant past, already.

Sorry for playing with your emotions,it's not something i would normally do or feel the need to do but i don't think i am the person i used to be due to outside influences.

I feel i have been chiseled and hammered into the form that certain people have decided to make me into,their reality they have chosen to create for me.

Sounds a bit deep and slightly deranged i must admit,that's what i would have thought a few years back anyway.

I'm not particularly a believer of the religious connotation of evil and have preferred the scientifically based term such of psychopathy but i am not so sure at present,or whether different types of humanoid creatures are living on the earth due to my experiences.

Yes sounds wacky but trying to make sense of the deviousness and just general motivations and concepts of certain individuals is overwhelming.

I will most likely PM a few members,not to sure at the moment,don't stress about somebody you don't know,just use this experience as a reference point to show care for people who are close to you and are honest with you.

I'm not sure that the terminology matters that much, is the person evil or a psycopath? Do they not have a soul? But ime it's true to say that there are certainly 'people' wandering this earth who are very different from the majority. People who lack any form of conscience or compassion and who delight in manipulation, scheming and far far worse. Dead eyed and dangerous. I don't think there's anything we can do to 'help' them, i think they're beyond that. If somene like this has latched on to you then find a way of getting them out of your life would be my advice. If it's more than one of them, the same applies but obviously the method of getting away may involve complete withdrawal, ie moving on.
I think there's then a bunch of 'in betweeners' who are basically 'human' but who exhibit a lot of the traits. Ths 'psychic vampires' and suchlike. They may just be after energy to fill a void left by an unsupportive mummy or summat rather than be full on dead eye but again, i wouldn't recommend prolonged contact.

And I'm also going to add that the last couple of years has taught me one thing I won't be forgetting in a hurry... there are some very odd things brewing and by odd I mean things that could most certainly fall easily into the 'Woo' category all day long!
...so don't knock your own judgement on something just because it doesn't fit the standard definitions. I had to stop knocking my own for my own sanity....and thankfully it worked, as in, I was able to finally realise I wasn't actually nuts.
But it obviously didn't help with the deeper realization that the things I was questioning, did actually happen..but that's swings 'n' roundabouts innit
