My regular JSA Advisor has died, I was informed today.

Queue jokes like "you know you've been unemployed too long when..."

But I actually feel quite bummed out about the whole thing. I only found out because I asked the woman who was dealing with me where she was. I said something stupid like "it's the one thing we all have in common" or something, like you do when you hear someone has passed on and there just aren't the words to really say what you're feeling.

I then said "was it natural", as in, she wasn't stabbed or eaten or summat. But the advisor started to get a bit edgy at this point and just said she didn't know.

Not sure why I'm sharing this with you horrible lot, but just felt like sharing.

I think people tend to forget JSA bods are real human beings sometimes. As are all 'government officials' (despite what certain parties may try and convince you of).

Kind of puts things in perspective though.

Well Mrs Sharma, wherever you are...this one's for you.

A mod could do it but I don't think a poster could after it's been quoted.

Though it would be easier of course, if you just learnt how to write properly in the first place.

& yep no jokes from me either on the JSA advisor dying abs. As you say, they're just human beings like the rest of us...some are ok, some are not.

Right ok...I've got those three (in grey), then another three options..'edit' 'moderate' & 'delete' (highlighted, so probably only admin/mods can see those options)

You guys should have the 'edit' option (to edit your own posts), alongside the other three. Looks like a teething problem. No worries, I'll get novum or frog to have a look when they get here.
