The angel Obama seems to be on a mission to do a few things to piss off republicans before he heads off for life as a millionaire and releasing Chelsea Manning is the latest.

She should never have been in jail anyway!
The bluster i heard on the radio was digusting.
Chelsea Manning, imho, did a very good and wise thing in leaking thise documents. Documents which revealed massive data on just how corrupt, manipulative, psycopathic and self serving the US (and others) machine has got. Just how much it will do what the hell it wants.
Chelsea Manning should have been rewarded not banged up and driven to attempted suicide.

The timing on this is just so wrong and I'm basing that on Donald Trumps crystal clear comments on what he thinks of Manning. Which is in short, that he believes she should be charged with the highest form of treason in American Law.

It's almost as if it was a little "screw you" on the way out the door by Obama, obviously not taking into account the human involved as he played tit for tat. Otherwise it would mean he's been fighting Mannings corner since the start....slogging it out to the bitter end....which happened to be three days before Trump takes the crown?...really?

But hey, at least Chelsea Manning gets to leave jail as a result
