I was not being hyperbolic or facetious – I was genuinely mortified that our national broadcaster would have thought it acceptable – in the year 2014 – to have a discussion on what was “mild” homophobia and what was “serious” homophobia.

Substitute the word “rape” for “homophobia” in that sentence and tell me that it is an acceptable subject for discussion.

lol, actually I recall some wingnuts in america not long ago discussing 'real' rape vs fake rape.
Oh..and then there's the all time classic 'a womans body shuts down when raped so they can't get pregnant'...

I reckon you could start in japan first lol...we could then have AI holograms that pop up and interact to comfort relatives...jesus this is a winner man :D

We can go a step further. Corpse Cam.
A monitor attached/built into the grave stone to enable relatives to watch their loved ones slowly decompose.

Also handy to keep an eye on any corpses that might be showing zombie tendencies - a small mic placed in the casket can be used to record any muffled brains utterances. :)
