I always get very wary when I see people prefixing "real" to anything.

"real" Patriot
"real" American
"real" Christian/believer
"real" Whatever football team you choose supporter

It never usually turns out well, ever.

Bothering to find the truth is the one fundamental action that defines truther. There is no one fundamental classification of being a "real American" other than being an American citizen. All other matters have nothing to do with it. Its not the same thing.

Its like a group of 50 people all calling themselves American when 40 of them are European and only 10 actual Americans. The 10 are the real Americans.
