Scotland has it's own ability to create all the Scottish money we want (within reason)

George and David better up their game because this crap about Scotland will loose the pound is just complete nonsense and scaremongering.

And David Cameron's latest project of 'phone a friend in Scotland and tell them to vote NO'

I don't think it really matters if Scotland loses the pound. Ireland have the Euro. I'd be more worried about not being a part of the EU myself....

Scotland will join the EU and Euro, that is the plan the SNP have made clear from what I can see.
They have been very clear about wanting to join the EU. This is why I laugh so hard when the word 'independence' is ever mentioned.

I totally agree in respect of representative democracy, voting in that case is futile as you point out.

Direct democracy though is something I believe in strongly, in that instance everyone should take part as much as possible.

The trouble with this referendum is that it is a real non choice, EU or UK and even then the UK is in the EU.
Ultimately just what difference does it make?

TBH Andy I don't think it will make one blind bit of difference , I really can't understand why they want to bring this to the table now .

The way I see it Scotland has a sqewed form of identity , where they have banged on about the men from moidart , wallace etc.... but stand up to sing for the queen , it really makes no sense , so why do they want to break away now and be a seperate entity ?

As the very self same masonic voters will still stand and sing for the queen if/when they get indy

What I'm waiting to see if the orange and masonic order will be stopped in scotland and people treated equally , I doubt very much tho
